    Went from starting Game 1 of the World Series to unable to make the freaking Phillies roster in 4 months. I mean, he's had a really weird year going back to ST last year. Was gonna have a big role going into the season. Then gets surprise-traded to the A's because we surprise-signed Fowler. Then he has a god-awful first half, gets traded back to the Cubs, somehow starts Game 1 of the WS and now this. Very weird. I just like to keep pointing out that Coghlan started Game 1 of the World Series for us because each time I type it, it boggles my mind.

    Billy and Ryne are both ambassadors for the Cubs so I suspect they will get rings like many employees will. I read an article about how Neil Ramirez and Federovic will be getting rings so I'm assuming everyone who appeared for the team will.

    I keep telling myself: Not all Chicago teams can be great at the same time. 2/4 ain't bad. Dammit I want a Boston where all teams have won a title in the last decade and are consistently in the playoffs 80% of each team's seasons.

    I thought I read that SC had never even made a sweet 16 until this year For some reason it doesn't seem shocking or fresh if Gonzaga or Xavier make it (and 1 will obviously), probably because they are in the mix every year and have both made the Elite 8 in recent years. Boggles my mind that neither (especially Xavier) have made a F4

    He did only pitch 11 innings in the series, but he was pretty damn good. I think if he came on in relief in game 7 and shut the Indians down to win the WS, he probably would have.

    Yes but that didn't take into account Oregons injury so I had no choice but to remain hopeful. Of course it also didn't account for Wagner to play his worst game since his freshman year

    I mean, it doesn't guarantee that the Bears don't draft a QB in the first 2 rounds but it certainly seems less likely
