I wonder if this makes them go harder for Darvish. They have the division wrapped up, but if Kershaw is dead and they don't know how healthy he'll be for October then they should probably make Darvish happen. I don't think it changes their degree of pursuit in Darvish or another pitcher of his caliber. He's basically had the same injury 2 times prior and he's been able to come back without much difficulty, so I'm guessing the Dodgers aren't too worried about the injury lingering into October.

I think that's the only year we've ever won it since it was introduced. Not that the crosstown cup means anything at all, but i hate how if the series is a split, the defending team "wins" it. I mean that's fine that the cup is retained but I don't think it deserves to be celebrated on the field with photos etc if you split a series with the other team. But again the crosstown cup is stupid, we have bigger fish to fry lol You dare besmirch the Crosstown Cup? This is why White Sox fans hate Cubs fans. Hah, I have a White Sox fan in our office that loves to point out that the Cubs may have won 103 games and the World Series, but they didn't have a perfect season because they didn't win the Crosstown Cup. I know he's saying that just to rile up Cubs fans, but honestly who even thinks of that?

I've said this before on here but he's a fraud IMO. Many things he exclusively reports have turned out to be outright false (potentially all of them, I've never seen him hit on anything), and the rest is him trailing a report from a credible writer saying that his sources are telling him the same thing.

Heyward since the break: .364/.400/.636/1.036, 5 XBH in 35 PA. If you told me Heyward would be in the general .750 OPS range for the season I would have taken it

I actually think I have that 08 Rockies game somewhere in iTunes. I bought it several years ago for some strange reason. Have no idea how I could upload it anywhere though.
