Not doing it led to umfan blowing his glory with that inning against st Louis What am I missing? 7/21, that thread says "World Champion Cubs"... What he is referring to is the 3rd game against the Braves, I ended up editing it after Bryant left the game injured, and as a result of my edit the Cubs won the game and Bryant only missed 1 game.

Saw this in a Dave Cameron FG chat: Is that necessarily a bad thing that all his defensive value is based on throwing? It still means that he is playing the position as a whole slightly above average right? Or am I completely misunderstanding UZR? If that's true, I would assume that throwing strength and accuracy are fairly consistent attributes although there is certainly some luck involved. -

Their fans on twitter are the best. Mention Coors and they will actually debate that the environment there isn't any different than anywhere else. Mix in Petriello having to explain why Bryant is better than Arenado on a daily basis and it's just so much fun to watch Holy horsefeathers. I met a Rockies fan on my work trip last week and you basically just described him exactly. Arenado v Bryant was the biggest argument he had for me, but he did spend some time explaining how it's not the environment, basically every single pitcher in Rockies history has just been bad. And Aaron Cook is proof that the environment isn't an issue for some reason. They are probably the same people arguing against climate change despite mountains and mountains of evidence that destroys any argument they could have.

Soto and supposedly Ted Lilly did it in 08. I wouldn't be surprised if Lilly's was vs. the White Sox too. He had that game where he took a no-hitter into the 9th on Sunday night baseball. Can't think of too many other games he would've had 5 AB. Wasn't that a 1-0 game though? Or something where the Cubs would not have had enough offense for the 9 spot to come up 5 times.
