Eh, its a nice gesture overall. I always thought it was weird (but understandable) that he went completely off the grid after the incident, and that elusiveness contributed to the ongoing Bartman discussion over the years. If he had just went on a radio show, maybe did 1-2 interviews between 2003 and now, he would have been mostly forgotten by now. But getting a statement out of Bartman has been so difficult, everyone who doesn't follow the Cubs as closely as we do cast him as someone in hiding and his life ruined by what happened. From all accounts he's just some normal dude working some normal job, not a recluse. Maybe I'm way off the mark here, I dunno. Either way, good for him.
