  1. I guess that can be interpreted different ways. As far as Klein goes, he was the front runner because his team was undefeated. He's scored a bunch of TD's, but the rest of his stats are average. Their best win of the year was at Oklahoma (which is a very good win) but he had 149 yards passing, 79 yards rushing and 1 TD. That's the only team they've played with a defense. Manziel is getting bashed for his poor performance against Florida where he threw for 173 yards, rushed for 60 and scored 1 TD. The English language interprets that as "I am voting for Manziel."
  2. Because he was probably a meatball meatballing about no freshman gon win this trophy on my watch
  3. Plus if you can't judge a linebacker solely on interceptions, what can you judge him on?
  4. And you're the one who included those stats...nevermind that it's shameful that you've abandoned your Texas State roots just because they're ranked 113th in the prestigous teamrankings.com poll.
  5. A&M's schedule is the toughest in the country as long as you don't include 2 of the 11 games they've played and go by rankings where they're the 3rd best team in the country.
  6. It becomes even more obvious when you figure in all the sacks Teo should've really had if not for argle bargle
  7. Yeah Manziel put up some amazing numbers against South Carolina State, Sam Houston State and Louisiana Tech's D
  8. Such statistics can be incredibly misleading when one doesn't watch the game. IU shot all of six free throws in the first half. But Georgetown trailed at the end of both regulation and overtime, was forced to play over-aggressively/foul intentionally, and IU shot thirteen free throws in the final two minutes of regulation and overtime. Moreover, IU played zone most of the game, and Georgetown struggled breaking it down and relied on jumpshots (twenty-six of their fifty-nine shots were 3-pointers). Jump shots don't tend to draw fouls. Indiana is ranked number-one and is named "Indiana," so, yeah, they are the beneficiary of some calls. But, as a general rule, the better team shoots more free throws, the more aggressive team attacking the basket shoots more free throws, and the team leading at the end of the game shoots more free throws. IU was all three last night. Only reason it jumped out at me was when I flipped it on late in regulation it was something like 25-3. I was actually surprised it didn't widen further.
  9. I was ok with Chaminade because it gave us a bye to UNC. Thanks a bunch Roy
  10. Indiana with a 36 to 10 free throw advantage. Everyone should get used to this [expletive]
  11. I think they feel that way today, I do not think they will feel the same way in a couple of years though In a couple of years when there's one year left on their penalty?
  12. This is just all the more reason we shouldn't spend any money until 2019.
  13. It was very ugly, but it was still an ugly half that resulted in a 37-37 score.
  14. To be fair, pretty much everybody hates Shea Hillenbrand.
  15. I'm butt-chugging kool-aid right now
  16. GFY BRUCE PEARL
  17. Reminds him of Dwyane Wade
  18. Plus it seems pretty well accepted that MD to the B1G means UConn is gone from the BEast too
  19. I mean the actual states of Iowa and Indiana
  20. Cmon abuck it was clearly a shot at erik's realignment plans, don't go all roid rage over it.
  21. Should've went with Iowa State, especially considering the great natural rivalry that would bloom.
  22. Anecdotally, Maryland is an excellent academic school.
  23. Illinois's current protected rival is Northwestern, so that will have to change...but it's probably more likely we get Rutgers and Northwestern gets Maryland.
  24. My only gripe is this will [expletive] up the basketball schedule moreso.
