    As tree pointed out yesterday, tomorrow is a day game, so Ross and Montero are each going to get one start regardless. The personal catcher thing is fine for a backup if you're not using the same personal catcher as the righty half a of a platoon. Add in that Lester has faced [expletive] zero lefties all season and it's a lot of wasted PAs.

    you were his boss, you could have pushed him, or you could have chosen not to gift him an extension on your way out the door. Who were the "2 kids?" Even that Wasserstrom goof was post-MacPhail IIRC.

    Conveniently enough, we played the Mets in game 75 in Theo's first year. Our leadoff man was Joe Mather. We lost 17-1.

    Is there a more obvious "sell high" candidate in the system? Tell Amaro he hits 98 and that he doesn't strike anyone out because he's the only minor league pitcher on the planet truly learning to pitch. I doubt Amaro is going to be allowed to do anything on his own
