  1. I'm amazed that Seiya is up to a .771 OPS now
  2. So at this point, who can we conclusively say is a better pitching prospect than Horton other than Skenes? Painter before the injury is the only one I can think of.
  3. JD definitely takes it to the next level. Boog and Sutcliffe was awful. Boog and Girardi is fun just because of how blatant Boog is with his hate, but everyday that would get real old.
  4. It's funny, going into this season the expectations were that the pitching would be solid and the offense a bit of a dumpster fire. It has been the opposite.
  5. How to you give a lead off walk to a guy like that? Just literally throw it down the middle and see what he can do with it.
  6. Corbin Burnes gives up gives up 3 hits in the first but only 1 run despite men on 1st and 3rd with no outs. That's disappointing.
  7. If we're talking strictly fair value, I think it's around Alcantara+Arias, but knowing the backlash from the fans if the Mets sell Pete, I suspect they're going to demand something like Shaw+Caissie+, which I am not even slightly interested in for 1 year of a 1B just so I can then be forced to offer them 6/180 on a contract that wont start until Alonso is already 30.
  8. I suspect they're going to want to use some of the spots to add to the bullpen. Though, now that I think about it, I believe basically all the realistic options already are on the 40 man.
  9. I don't want to make a separate thread for this, but with Seiya up to a .762 OPS, 107 wRC+ and currently at 1.6 fWAR on pace for 2 fWAR, where would he need to finish for you to consider his season a success? If he ended at like .775 OPS, I think I'd be fairly content with that. It's not the .830 OPS 25HR guy I hoped he'd be this year, but it would be decent.
  10. This about the only time I'm in support of starting Wisdom. Morel definitely needs some time off, he has been absolutely awful for a while now.
  11. Always fun to forfeit every 5th game while in a pennant race.
  12. Well if you listen to metsrefugees, they think the asking price should have been top 3 prospect in baseball Jackson Chourio+, which is just absolutely absurd. So comparatively that's like asking for PCA+Shaw at minimum.
  13. Yes, how could the Cubs have possibly anticipated the guy with a 7.33 ERA over the last two months is terrible and maybe a move should be made to have someone else make the start. How could they possibly have foreseen this?
  14. Wtf was that showing a bunt with a man on and 2 down
  15. Well Ross did everything he could to try and lose, let's see if they can overcome that
  16. Wesneski can't get out lefties, Smyly can't get anyone out and Killian has been awful in an admittedly small sample, so yeah give me the guy with a 3.41 ERA over the last 2 months and 3.09 over the last month.
  17. Yes, because none of us knew who he was before the article
