  1. The second he started supporting BLM the fans turned on him. Also, he's completely dominating today. 5IP 1H 0ER 1BB 7K on only 58 pitches
  2. I'm torn. It would be funny if he was amazing as soon as he left St. Louis, but I also don't want to see Baltimore be rewarded for being a bunch of cheap asses at the trade deadline.
  3. A fun look at what some of the starters have done in their first start, or two, since being traded Scherzer went 6IP 7H 3ER 2BB 9K against the WSox. Lorenzen went 8IP 6 2ER 1BB 5K against the Marlins Giolito in 2 games has gone 9IP 14H 12ER 4 BB 7K in starts vs. Atlanta and Toronto Jack Flaherty is currently pitching and so far 3IP 1H 0ER 1B 5K vs Toronto.
  4. You hit submit but it still shows the screen where you were typing your message right? I've had this happen a few times recently, where instead of taking me to my newly posted message it just stays on the same screen.
  5. The Nationals are also not playing too bad lately. They swept the Giants, took 2 of 3 from the Rockies, lost 3 of 4 to the Mets and took 2 of 3 from the Brewers. That's 8-5 over their last 13. The Reds might have their hands full.
  6. Do the Cubs even play day games anymore? I kind of miss the nostalgia of it.
  7. God, can you imagine the hype if Caissie was a 20 K% guy?
  8. I still think that had more to do with PTR than Len wanting to join the White Sox.
  9. That's my favorite thing about this. There was so much talk about how their dynasty was going to be better than the Cubs and they were going to run Chicago. Then absolutely none of it happened and I laughed and I laughed.
  10. They split and it's kind of disappointing, they win and it's all aboard the hype train. Irrational and yet I'm still intending to do it.
  11. Frankly I'd be concerned if the defense wasn't starting to beat the offense after seeing them day in and day out. This is like a pitcher going through the order for a 3rd or 4th time, of course the advantage is going to swing to the hitter.
  12. 7.88 K/9 and 3.38 BB/9, along with a 4.20 FIP and 4.01 xFIP tell me that's basically a mirage. I don't think it would be anymore beneficial than throwing Assad in the rotation.
  13. If they can win this one and go even just 4-5 against ATL, NYM and TOR I would be pretty ok with that. Then they can fatten up on the next 12 games against the WSox, Royals, Tigers and Pirates.
  14. Really need this win going into a stretch where 2 of the next 3 series are going to be brutal.
  15. Win tomorrow and and they're either 2 or 2.5 games out of the division.
  16. Wow that delivery from Cuas has a lot of moving parts
  17. If he ever learns to stop putting himself constantly behind early he could be a special bat
