    Every time someone posts some optimistic Cubs statline before a Cardinals series, it ends up getting [expletive] on. Like how good our bullpen was going into last week's Busch series only for Strop to give up the game-tying homerun to the scrubbiest scrub imaginable.

    Yea I really don't know man. I know he's been struggling with his health but Im unsure as to the exact reason. Coomer would be a great ambassador type for the Cubs, but he is abyssmal on commentary. I feel bad every time I write that because he's such a nice guy, but there really needs to be a completely new booth like they did with Len and Brenly if Hughes retires. edit: on a side note, JD is really winning me over this season. I wasn't a big fan last year, but that's changing. He's hilarious. Yeah, JD's dad jokes are the best.
