I think the only thing we could do to fix the roster is call up Baez and Shwarber as soon as possible and hope for the best. The offense is bad due to underperformance, not bad roster construction. Fowler's OPS should be 100 points higher, Castro shouldn't be a complete black hole in the lineup, and we were hoping for at least an .800 OPS from Soler. Montero could be a tick better, too. There's little to do beyond practicing patience and good coaching. On that point - someone seriously needs to help Castro with his swing. But at least he seems more patient this year. Until he reaches two strikes, then he completely freaks out.
