I disagree. Anything short of at least winning a series in the playoffs, and maybe even making the World Series, and I think he's gone. Just getting back to the level of 2007--08 isn't enough; they need to make progress beyond that level. And I realize that's probably a tall order, but Hendry himself is responsible for handcuffing the team payroll-wise, so that level of performance should still be required for him to keep his job.
