  1. uhh they would have won if they got the first down
  2. Anyone know of a place I can get the game from the final Patriots drive on. I recorded the game for my roommate and just realized it cut off right after the first quick Colts touchdown. He's only in the first quarter of watching it so I got time but I know of no place that you can watch a replay.
  3. When you have one of the best offenses in history playing a bad defense that you have shredded all game long and the alternative is punting to one of the best offenses in history (they both are) when your defense has gotten shredded all game you should go for it. Is it unconventional and thus most will jump on you if it fails, yes but it was the right call. I would rather trust my offense to get 2 yards than my defense to stop Peyton in a 2 minute.
  4. Ball State beat Valpo by 10, UNC beat Valpo by 11. Ball State should be ranked #5.
  5. I've never understood why anything is half the distance to the goal. If you commit a penalty and the yardage is more than is left then the ball should be put at the 1 (unless already closer than the 1).
  6. That was complete BS. No way Moss ran 33.5 yards in 3.3 seconds while stumbling towards the end. That translates to an under 4.0 40-yard dash I think. Yeah no.
  7. They are better than the over-dramatic windows 7 ads. Windows 7 was my idea. Shut up.
  8. that was a classic al davis pick. It's amazing looking at how much better Lewis Murphy is. FWIW its Louis
  9.
  10. Dallas got screwed there.
  11. Well I flipped toaiders-Chiefs game during commercials and I'm glad I did. Bowe got lit up and fumbled and then about 10-15 guys had a chance to dive on it only to knock it further down field. Finally was recovered by Chiefs 20 yards from the original fumble spot.
  12. Cowboys-Packers game pretty boring. Might be time for my weekly Sunday afternoon nap.
  13. yeah I've gotten the same response My wife voted every day, but that's because I logged in and did it for her (with her permission). I got my mom to vote today and then one other friend. That's been it. I've voted three times I think and also created a fictional guy who has voted twice.
  14. yeah I've gotten the same response
  15. be quiet and go away
  16. Anyone know what happened to Orton. I saw Simms was in but haven't heard what happened.
  17. and he has 6 TD's this season. I'm hardly a Reggie homer and he's not what we all wished he would have been, but it's not like he's a bust. 26 TD's in 3 and a half seasons isn't bad. There are 10 players with 6+ rushing TDs. There are 9 players with 6+ receiving TDs. Green Bay has a linebacker with more receiving TDs than Bush. Reggie bush was the hottest running back prospect in how many years? People were talking about a "Reggie Bush Lottery". He hasn't been a bust by being bad, but he's been a huge disappointment. edit: he was in a 20 way tie for 41st in touchdowns coming into today. Off to visit my father now He's now averaging over 5 yards a carry and has 6 TD's. Has he been the dominant force most thought he would be? Of course not but he is still a very valuable player to have because in addition to the stuff I listed he is one of the biggest decoys in the league. That opens up the passing game for Brees and the WR's down the field.
  18. Another post about a Bears incident. This one is on Harris in the Cardinals game. Cardinals player was faking being hurt which I thought was obvious seeing the replay. He saw the ref throw the flag and then immediately started acting like he was in pain. Anyways Fitz's comments confirm it.
  19. Can I get your car.
  20. I didn't post it so much for the missed call as for letting you guys know there will likely be a major fine coming and possible suspension.
  21. Can't go wrong with black and gold. As far as the up front question ... we have a handful of players who are average and can score at times but do little else. I think all of them have the ability to step up but I don't really expect any of them to do it because they have all been around for awhile. I would say Jozy is pretty easily the top one.
  22. Yeah thanks for texting me saying Purdue got to pizza bowl. 10 minutes later MSU has scored twice. I blame you. Purdue is going to be the best 5-7 team ever. 2 point loss at Oregon, 7 point loss to NIU that was one of the worst games I have seen in years, 3 point loss to ND on a last second touchdown, 6 point loss to Northwestern when we led the entire game until the final score with 2 minutes to go, beat a top 10 team in OSU. Minnesota and Wisconsin smoked us though.
  23. A large majority of the time but there are the cases like Brees, Peyton and Brady. Ah, I suppose so. But, although their win differential might not be nearly as drastic as Cutler's, I'd be willing to bet that their career records are significantly worse when then throw 35+ as opposed to when they don't. Considering those three throw 35+ times most games and win most of their games, no. I do agree with the point though. Except for a few outlier cases throwing 35+ times normally means your team is down a lot. I was curious and looked it up. Brady is 11-1 the last three seasons, Peyton 16-4, Brees 11-15 (most came last two seasons when they were under .500).
