Which is why I laugh at the notice that the Cardinals have the "best fans in baseball" statement.

Agreed. Marty is coming off as very bitter that he wanted to stay in Chicago, but also get paid. He knew the Hawks are building something and he wanted to be a part of it, and it sounds like he is bitter that he had to leave Chicago for Minnesota. Get over yourself Marty, you'll prolly spend half of your time in Minnesota on the IR, but at least you got paid.

I don't know, but maybe Soriano should do something about it..........say hit the ball more consistantly? Crazy thought, I know.

The AL has won the ASG since the inception of "it counts" yet the AL hasn't dominated the World Series. So just because the ASG "counts", it doesn't really matter when the World Series starts.

The guy is supposedly a "football scientist" but then he starts comparing the records as starting QB...ugh. Yeah, I read that and the first thought I had was "why is Joyner such a tool?" Comparing Gorssman to Cutler, especially based on records, is an exercise in futility.

We're getting NY/LA in South Carolina too. Whatever I watch enough Cubs on Extra Innings. I don't even wanna watch them. I'm sure it'll just waste my afternoon. Same in here in Alabama. Apparently Fox taking it's cue from ESPN and making sure they shove the Yankees down everybodies throat. I have no interests in watching the Yankees, but apparently Fox think I do. -

Cards are not the better team, maybe smarter, but not better. They waited for the Cubs to make a mistake and they capitalize on it.

oK......considering that the Bulls are one of the most tight-lipped teams in basketball when it comes to trades, etc, etc, nobody knows what is going on in the Bulls FO. Clearly he's saying his source is someone in the Bulls front office. This is a basketball team, not the Mossad. They keep relationships with reporters. I'm not saying they are, I'm just saying that unless his source is John Paxson, Gar Forman, or Jerry Reinsdorf, his source is only stated an opinion and not fact.

He also said that Kobe Bryant would be traded. So, I don't believe what these people are predicting. That trade was actually approved by both sides and Kobe cancelled after they were going to submit the trade to the league. Bucher is usually connected. Maybe so, but I don't believe anybody when it comes to trade no matter how "connected" they are. Cause unless you are the GM/Owner you have no idea what is truly going on.

I've watch Colby Rasmus, his brother Cory, play baseball in Alabama for a long time. Both lead the Phenix City team to the Little League World Series in 1999, a game they would lose. Along with Kasey Kiker (that is three future 1st or Supp. 1st rd picks on one high school team in Alabama. A rarity in this state) led Russell County to the State Championship IN 2005 over my high school. Suffice to say, nobody is surprise about Rasmus success in baseball. With that said......as talented as Rasmus is, and boy is he...to think him alone could land the Cards Doc Halladay is ridiculous.
