  1. I think Boston better be thinking the corspe of Red Auerbach that they are going to Chicago tied 1-1. Cause if the Bulls could GRAB A FRIKKIN OFFENSIVE REBOUND OR TWO, or VDN learning to use or not use timeouts properly, this series goes back to Chicago 2-0. As of right now, Boston has shown no reason why they should win this series, in fact I will say it, I think the Bulls will win in 5, 6 tops.
  2. The first two games show me that the Bulls are the better team. The Bulls will win this series.
  3. Here ya go dew: Many thanks, my friend. No problem.
  4. Here ya go dew:
  5. I'd rather have Cutler. :) :D
  6. I'm watching the game, and it this game is getting chippy. That one hit that Kunitz (I believe it was him) put on the Flyer was incredible. There is an NBA playoff game going on at the same time (Jazz .v. Lakers) but I can't seem to want to change the channel. I staying on the Flyers/Pens game.
  7. I love the fact that the Hawks are playing physical. Don't know if anybody knows but the Hawks have outhit the Flames this series by a good margin. Me likely. Keep playing physical and this series is short.
  8. My heart said "yeah the Celts would win", after watching that pitidul defensive effort by a Thibedeaux (sp?) team I'm not so sure. Pierce---more on him in a little---and Allen look old and slow. The C's BIGS won the scoring matching, but the Bulls bigs dominated them on the boards and blocks. Rondo was great, but Rose simply look and acted the part of a superstar in Game 1. The C's without KG isn't all that scary and is easily beatable.
  9. Sweet. I hope he never throws out the first pitch at the other baseball team in Chicago, cause he would look not to good wearing gray and black.
  10. Derrick Rose. Need I say more?
  11. They are, and the worst part people KNOW they are to protect "superstars," and they don't hide it.
  12. Yep. This suspension is more about Bradley's rep then anything else.
  13. I know of at least one patron being kicked out of a Yankee game because he was moving during "God Bless America."
  14. I don't get WGN (I get WGN America, but not the WGN that show Hawks game) and .VS. rarely shows Hawks game down here in the Thrashers/Predators area of the country. So I usually have to follow the game thread here, on chicagoblackhawks.com or where ever I can find it. I think the LAST Hawks game I saw was the Winter Classic and that was because it was on NBC. If the Hawks were on tv more here in the South, I would definately watch more Hawks hockey.
  15. I think Boston has to think about do they want: Allen on Salmons (w/ Pierce on Gordon)or Allen on Gordon (w/ Pierce on Salmons). Ether way there's a terrible matchup staring them down. Because Gordon can go toe to toe with Allen offensively, and all Salmons would have to do is hold his own against Pierce. Because without KG, T2/Noah and Miller should pwned Davis/Perkins/Powe, and the PG play should be a wash, but it wouldn't surprise me if Rose doesn't own Rondo during the series. So IMO it comes down to Gordon/Salmons .v. Allen/Pierce. On paper it's a no brainer, but in actuallity the matchup is prolly closer then what people think. Personally, if the Bulls can run and set an up-tempo rhytmn to the game, then the Bulls should run them out of the gym. But we all know the Bulls are a notoriously slow starter and could easier find themselves down early every game.
  16. Holey snikes..... Havlat!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Especially with extensions are getting closer for Thomas and Noah. Of course, I would part with Thomas and/or Noah for Bosh, and I believe the Bull will make a serious run at Bosh this summer.
  18. Agreed. Even when the Bulls were playing defense, they only made it past the first rd once and that was because the Heat was pretty much depleted. So it's debateable as to which Bulls team is better: the team that played defense or the team that has allowed Thomas/Noah and Rose to developed. To be honest every yr Noah and Thomas gets more and mor comfortable with their games, the better the Bulls will be defensively.
  19. I do not feel the same way. Losing to an inferior team like NJ a few yrs ago sucked, but Toronto was a much better team then their record suggests. The fact that they took 3 of 4 from the Bulls this yr should tell you that they played the Bulls very tough this yr.
  20. Same here. But I would love to see Rose simply abused Rondo/Marbury or whoever they put on him during the playoffs.
  21. They offered CC 6/100 so if they like Peavy enough, they could afford him. IMO, that was a "token offer" by the Brewers. They knew "only" $100 mill wasn't going to be enough to lure CC to stay. To me the Brewers offering that contract was nothing more then spin by the FO to tell the fans we tried, but he simply wanted more then what we could afford. IMO, it's the right decision for Milwaukee.
  22. We won't get swept, but lose in 5 will prolly be the most likely scenerio. I am looking forward to Rose abusing Rondo all series long.
  23. 1st round pick - Andre Smith  [-X :-))
  24. I could live with that. Blair isn't going to remind anyone of Kevin McHale but he'll be a demon on the glass. Young is a guy who could be an effective two way player if he improves his 3 point shot. Same here. Something tells me the Bulls are not going to hold onto both 1st rd picks. Only problem with the Sam Young pick would be the Bulls already have Salmons and Deng at SF, so either Salmons or Young would have to move over to SG. Drafting teammates? It could help the transistions to the NBA a little bit easier for both players. With that said, Bulls will not have both 1st rd picks by draft night.
  25. I SERIOUSLY doubt Harvin will drop into the third round. With the Patriots having 3 second rd picks, I would be willing to bet that the Patriots would gamble on Harvin in the 2nd rd. My guess is Harvin stays near the top of the 2nd rd. Interesting note about another Florida WR....Louis Murphy's name has been starting to circulate on some NFL mock (not the mainstream "analysts" of course) drafts with the Bears. Good size (6'3/207), good solid speed (4.43/40), don't know much about his hands, but he improve his game every yr in school. May not have the upside like others who could be available in the 2nd rd (Britt, Nicks, Harvin), but it wouldn't break my heart to take a chance on Murphy in the 2nd rd.
