  1. Not nearly to the same extent,, but still baffling - the Cubs had 5 of the top 12 (including Jody Davis at 10th!) And 2 more tied for 17th. It almost looks like Vance stuffed the NL MVP ballot box that year.
  2. Gotta be the second one... I think even Pace knows you just can't hire Nagy right now as any more than like an analyst. Dude was an offensive coach whose offense sucked repeatedly.
  3. Funny you say that because I saw this tweet today: Very cherry picked so it doesn't refute your point but I don't think he's been as bad as many think. He hasn't. well, wasn't expecting those numbers. Guess I was wrong.
  4. I think Vuc limits their ceiling. He just can't guard anyone, so if he's not making shots, he's useless.
  5. non-Bears note.... I hate the focus on Justin Jefferson trying to break Randy Moss' yardage record for a season... I mean, even if they force feed him the ball and he gets it, he had an entire extra game! It's not the same record...
  6. Correct. Baseball constantly trying to appeal to people who don't like baseball rather than make the experience better for people who do. 'Attendance is better for sporting events with competitive stakes' is not a fact I expected to have to argue, because is obviously and objectively true. But how much would fans of those teams consider those competitive stakes in your proposal?
  7. I want Byron Leftwich, but I feel like it makes too much sense for him to go to Jacksonville
  8. BDN is absolutely going to come out firing and lead the Bears to victory, postponing Nagy's firing at least one more week
  9. This DB is decimated and it already wasn't good. Only so much a guy can do lol For real, Johnson is their only good DB. Gipson is fine, DHC isn't awful but he just went out, Jackson is probably ok. Everyone else is pretty much street free agent quality.
  10. Wonder where he might end up if he moves
  11. penalties on 4 straight plays in Bama-UGA
  12. Fair point
  13. Can you imagine how bad the football would get? There aren't 32 capable QBs as it is, and as Bears fans we know that without a good QB, you might as well write off the season if you don't have an historically good defense.
  14. Really need Reyna and Dest to be healthy next cycle, and the full MMA midfield available. Also, Antonee Robinson was terrible last night. I know he's been solid, but he constantly killed our attacks on the left with poor touch and overdribbling
  15. Jamaica doing its best Wondo impression in front of goal
  16. Took a look at Gray's Road starts: 6+ innings: Arizona (2); San Diego (3) <6: Pittsburgh (made another start 5 days later, only going 3 at home, and then hit the IL); Washington, Arizona, LAD (3), Houston, SF, Atlanta, Milwaukee so 7 of his 15 road starts were against playoff teams, and all 3 SD starts were prior to the trade deadline, when SD fell apart. So 10 of 15 were against good teams, another was made right before a stint on the injured list probably doesn't really mean anything, but interesting nonetheless
  17. Yeah this was a masterclass from GGG & the players. Shout out to the el tri community, tho. Going to be harder than ever for them to convince themselves they’re still better. They’ve got their work cut out for them. The craziest part is still who do you bench if everyone in the attack is healthy. Weah has been so, so good. I’m starting to see the 2026 hope. This is a really good team. Which reminds me that this is the last Mexico home qualifier for 8 years. OF COURSE we had to dos a cero. Musah to the bench with Reyna playing centrally? And then whoever is in the best form between Aaronson and Weah plays opposite Pulisic.
  18. I'm only worried about the ballhandling for ASU, not the season in total. They've got some decent players and we could end up with an ugly looking loss if neither Trent nor Curbelo can play. I don't think it'll be a problem. Hahahaha, wow what a difference those two make. And Coleman Hawkins might just be making a leap
  19. That was a hideously ugly game. Honestly a bit worried about Arkansas State on Friday if they don't have at least one of Curbelo or Frazier available. Not overly concerned, it was the first game and none of their top 4 scoring options were present. If anything it was one of their few chances this season to get a serious look at the back half of the rotation with some serious minutes, but there is nothing of value to take away in terms of overall team expectations from this one. I'm only worried about the ballhandling for ASU, not the season in total. They've got some decent players and we could end up with an ugly looking loss if neither Trent nor Curbelo can play.

  21. In what world is that a better option than letting Fields throw it to the end zone?
  22. Fields lookin like the truth out there
  23. no Brooks, Dike, Sargent, Pefok Cannon, Scally, Vines, Ferreira in Pulisic back
  24. I mean, they basically don't promote baseball at all, so he's kinda being honest? Baseball players are about the least marketed stars in the sports world...
