  1. Brenley said "when we know, you'll know"
  2. Great, now Kasper and Brenley are speculating Ramirez hurt his OTHER quad?
  3. See, Milton Bradley was right. Hustling should be for white guys only. See what happens otherwise?
  4. The only thing that could have gone worse on that play was if the DP ball somehow ricocheted into the dugout and hit Lee in the face.
  5. Double play, no runs, Aramis face plants over 1st base. Did anything else go wrong on that play?
  6. Right idea Derrek, but not deep enough. Shallow fly out, 1 out.
  7. Am I the only one who thinks it's weird to keep hearing them talk about Sosa when referring to a pitcher?
  8. Holy Crap! Dusty put on the hit and run and it worked! /hell frozen over
  9. Wow, lucky bounce for ATL there. Sosa's pickoff throw goes past Franco and bounces right back onto the field. No advance.
  10. Lawton safe on a botched play at 1st.
  11. Bite your tongue! Blanco did have it turned around for a bit there. And besides, how's Dusty sposed to make lemonade in there if he doesn't have at least 4 lemons in the lineup?? I don't know, but we're gonna need a lot of Vodka to get through all this lemonade. Wednesday afternoon just got a lot more interesting...

  13. CBS Sportsline Yahoo! USA Today ESPN I'm sure there are more. I've checked all of the above and none of today's lineups. I thought they are usually available by this time
  14. Where on the web might one find lineups?
  15. Soriano is definitely out for Minnesota. I'm sure Twins' management has at least given Hendry a call about Walker...
  16. Link That being the case, the solution seems simple....
  17. It sure would be fun to tee off on a guy named Sosa!
  18. Ok, I think this is right. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong of course: NL Wild Card Standings (Start of Day, 8/24) PHI --- HOU 0.5 FLA 1.0 WSH 2.0 NYM 2.0 MIL 5.5 CHC 6.5 Best case scenario today: CHC defeats ATL ARZ defeats NYM MIL defeats FLA SD defeats HOU SF defeats PHI CIN defeats WSH BUSH declares war on NL EAST ("Bobby Cox hates freedom") Would result in: PHI --- HOU 0.5 FLA 2.0 WSH 3.0 NYM 3.0 MIL 4.5 CHC 5.5
  19. My wife kept staring at me because I was giggling out loud while reading that page. I'm not even halfway through August, much less April, May, June and July.
  20. updated WC standing will have to wait till tomorrow mornings, as I'm on the East Coast and don't want to wait out the HOU, PHI and NYM games.
  21. Neifi has played 118 games for Baker this year. If he is re-signed, expect him to start 4 games a week (at least), spelling either Nomar at SS or the second baseman. And expect him to bat 2nd unless the Cubs do some serious retooling.
  22. Oh man, sarcasm is the best, isn't it? I could read this page all day.
  23. His breakdown of Morgan's ESPN.com chat is also hilarious. An entire chat where Morgan never really answers any questions.
