    Okay, so I put on ESPNews and they say that Pedro has a no-hitter through 5. So I flip over on MLB EI to the game, and Mark Grace is trying to jinx Pedro. He sticks his head out the booth window and yells "Hey! Pedro! It's me! Gracie! You got a no-hitter going!" What happens next? Next batter gets a single. HI-LARIOUS!

    Based on this year, however, don't you think Lee's agent(s) will try to push for an extension before he hits any type of career statistical correction in 2006?

    Guys, guys, guys, you aren't reading between the lines here. What Dusty is afraid of is that he will sit the vets, play the rookies, and they will do really well and the team will win. This will prove that they should've played all along, further damaging his credibility and further enraging the Cubs fandom since he refused to play them all year. This is "Covering my Ass:101"

    All I know is that whoever the next manager may be, even if its Torre, Leyland, whoever, WON'T be getting a 4 year deal. I think Hendry's hands are somewhat tied with this next year. Had this been Baker's last year, he wouldn't have gotten a new contract.
