The idea that a business could not fire a single employee for being bad at one of the most desirable jobs in the country for a 20 year period seems absurd, especially when we can watch, day to day, the calls that Angel Hernandez blows that a large majority of other umpires do not. I'm not arguing that point with you, the book explores the issue of how hard it is to replace umpires. I'm just one who believes, despite the criticism, they still have a better view over anyone else, including those watching on HD cameras.
