Yeah, I like this deal a lot for the Jays. And Storen gets out of DC finally. Good for both of them. Meanwhile the Nats now get a full season of Papelbon and Harper together. -

I would like that very much, though not sure how feasible it is. Rays are believed to like Villanueva and Vogelbach, though not sure exactly how much. Maybe those two, Coghlan and someone like Blackburn/Sands/Steele/Williams? -

That's what the buzz is now among the beat writers and national guys. They have the pieces to make it happen and also could feel they have to given the additions to the Giants and Dbacks/losing out on Grienke and Price.

Seriously. Sox and Dodgers come out pretty well in this trade. Reds deal their biggest non-abusive closer trade piece and the return for them is pretty meh.

Former Cubs minor leaguer Lincoln Holdzkom was killed in a car accident. We acquired him in the infamous Todd Wellemeyer trade with the Marlins. He was 33 and pitching in New Zealand. Sad news.
