I beg to differ actually. In 2001, we drafted Sisco, Nolasco and Harris. All 3 were top prospects of ours until we traded Harris and Nolasco and lost Sisco in the Rule 5 draft. Ryan Theriot was just on the big league club, and is having a fine season. Dwaine Bacon, among others are still in the system, and according to this, we drafted Khalil Greene, current SS for the Padres. In 2002, I'd say it was an ok draft. Granted, Brownlie hasnt fulfilled his potential and Hagerty's been hurt. However, we also drafted Dope, Petrick, Hill, and Craig, all of whom could make it to the majors, and we drafted Jones, who had tons of potential but we traded him away. Some names I recognize later on include Spearman, Medlin, Hood, Atlee, and Bear Bay (another we shouldnt have traded) I think we need to wait a few years before we assess these drafts and label them "good" or "bad".
