We're signing Daniel Norris. Lefty, once a big time prospect. Has been both a starter and reliever. Guess we're looking for flexibility on the pitching staff.

Very pleased with this. Was a much-needed bat in the lineup. Didn't he also play third base? Now gotta get a starter or two and some pen help. A Carlos Correa won't be bad either. -

I muted him a long time ago because he would defend the ricketts a lot and just seemed like a big shill That would do it. Fwiw I like Happ and Connect Roasters. For those who care, we re-signed PJ Higgins and Jonathan Holder to minor league deals.

They can get away with one more starter. Stroman Hendricks Miley XXXXX Alzolay/Steele/Mills/Thompson/Kilian But they could also really use three bats. I feel like Adbert has done enough to get a spot in the rotation and it would be nice to have a hard thrower in that rotation.

The Marlins just traded Kameron Misner to the Rays for Joey Wendle. That seems like a steep price to pay or has Misner not done as well since the draft?

I mean if there's a DH and he hits like he did 2019-20 then I'm a fan. Worth a shot.

I'm fine with it. Yan gives them an actual decent catcher behind Willy and it could allow Willy to get some rest or DH. We used like 7 catchers last year so this seems like a worthwhile signing. Doesn't necessarily mean Willy is gone.

I'd take that with a grain of salt but there's room on the roster for Rizzo or Javy. Or maybe they mean we're signing Chris Rusin.

Marlins traded prospects (including a former first rounder) for Jacob Stallings. They've long been seen as a suitor for Contreras so this probably takes them out.
