    I absolutely loved Bellhorn back in the day for whatever reason. I still collect his trading cards whenever I see them. And his 2 homer inning is one of my favorite trivia busters.

    I don't think Burger is much of an upgrade over what we already have in Morel and Wisdom. Unless they prove me otherwise they seem to be content with WisMadriBuoni at 3rd again.

    Red Sox turned Mookie Betts into Dick Fitts. Can't make this horsefeathers up. Weird that they traded with each other. Weirder that it's a fairly mediocre return for a player they didn't have to trade.

    I don't like the idea of trading Morel but it seems to be a given at this point. If this trade were something like Morel and Ben Brown and Cam Sanders type or low A prospect for Glasnow, Lowe and maybe one of their relievers, I'd be all over it. I'd imagine Lowe (who I've long been a fan of) can handle 3B and provide insurance around the diamond.

    A+ title thread. I've liked Rhys awhile. Part of that comes from living in Philly and having met him once. But he would be a good bat at first base and fill a need. Given the injury, I do wonder what the terms would look like. Maybe a one year prove it deal like Bellinger.

    Now Cleveland is trying to go for it and claimed Giolito, Lopez and Moore. Reds grabbed Bader and Renfroe.

    Pretty pathetic ending to the Ohtani-Trout era. I'd love to add Giolito or Moore. Also Tigers waived Jose Cisnero who I thought would be a sneaky good pickup at the deadline.

    We lost Ryan Jensen on waivers to the Mariners. Womp womp. Our 2019 draft isn't looking too hot.

    I think someone pointed out too that Cuas we got from KC has reverse splits so maybe they tinker in Iowa and call him back up. Also could be setting to give someone like Bailey Horn a look.

    Really hoped for a lefty reliever but so it goes. This was always gonna be the approach if we were buyers. Marlins were busy at the end there. Swapped Garrett Cooper for Dave Weathers' kid. Interesting deal.

    I like Mancini and wanted that deal to work (and didn't dislike it at the time). I am surprised they went ahead and made the tough but obvious choice. He has no spot on the roster anymore. Maybe someone like the Yankees or Phillies desperate for a bat will take a chance.
