Dermody makes 40 even if the team site is completely up to date. That was my thought. I wanna see guys like Leeper and Mekkes get a look but they probably didn't want to rush them up for a double header. Or I haven't followed Iowa the last few days so I don't know who is healthy or rested.

We're getting SP Hayden Wesneski, the Yankees 7th ranked prospect by MLB. Currently in AAA.

I do not like this. Effross is definitely a guy that was gonna be part of the pen for awhile and is cheap and controllable. I hope the Yankees overpaid.

He can play multiple positions and has crushed AAA. Would've preferred an interesting lottery ticket but it's not terrible for a soon to be FA middle reliever.

What are thoughts on Campusano? We lack top of the organization catching and they also have Nola and Alfaro. Part of me gets the feeling we're going to be underwhelmed at the time.

Yeah I love this deal. There's gotta be something there still with Newcomb. He was just such a great prospect and had a few good years in the bigs already. I know the Braves DFAd him so they had to do something but kinda wild they're sending him for a guy who's basically at the end of the road. -
I'm annoyed about Abbott. Really thought he at least could be an interesting relieved and would rather think get a look than Letter. And yeah aside from Adbert who's how hurt we really have no homegrown starters to speak of for like a decade.

Nance claimed by the Marlins, who in turn DFAd Yoan Lopez. Lopez has some interesting stuff but hasn't fully put it together.

Starting to trim the roster. Tommy Nance also DFAd. Didn't seem like there'd be a spot for one of Ramirez or Hermosillo and there's the answer. Quiroz is an infielder who has hit well in the minors but has never played in the majors and is already 30.

I kinda have it in my head now that the Orioles will end up with Correa and then do the "Hosmer and prospects for nothing" trade with the Padres. It doesn't really make sense which I feel is why it will happen.
