  1. And then they turn to Wright and talk to him about...Cutler running over that dude. When he wins a ring the narrative is going to be how he learned from the NFC Championship and how it taught him how to be a leader and all that [expletive]. I will be too drunk to notice so it won't bother me.
  2. Spent the day at the local steelers bar. Had a great burger. Good times.
  3. I thought they did 2 years or so ago Beat tampa
  4. There's the Briggs I know and love
  5. Because he's an offensive genius? You come up with silly reasons to justify dismissing all the examples that prove it is not a necessity. But it clearly is not
  6. Eh, bb and dungy did fine. Coughlin is no offensive mastermind, neither was cowher/tomlin. The continuity comes at qb, not hc or oc. It helps but is hardly mandatory
  7. Gregg took it as a demotion rather than experimentation. He also earned $500k bonus for finishing yesterday. Very entitled veteran reaction mixed with excessive losing messing with the guys heads.
  8. Arizona has proven time and time again they don't like fence jumpers
  9. Of course it's a thing, what it is not is the greatest thing that has ever happened to football.
  10. I mean non morons. There were a lot of people who knew Tebow sucked, because they weren't morons, but also thought Brian Kelly was doing something knew and revolutionary and nobody would be able to stop it. He didn't get the job. I get those chubby micks confused all the time.
  11. Is there anybody who has been a big Jason Garrett believer besides Jerry Jones?
  12. I mean non morons. There were a lot of people who knew Tebow sucked, because they weren't morons, but also thought Brian Kelly was doing something knew and revolutionary and nobody would be able to stop it.
  13. *cough*Tebow*cough* Oh, come on, people realized he sucked. Apparently, people realize that about Philly's offense, too. They didn't a week ago. People knew Tebow would be an NFL flop when he was still in college.
  14. That's a classic Philly area marble mouth way of speaking. They also called Donovan McNabb "Dunuvin"
  15. WTF does "consistent lineups" have to do with anything. He was given a god awful roster. It sucks. The Cubs have lost a lot because they have a horrible roster.
  16. Of all the guys available Baez is the one that least needs the exposure/playing time.
  17. The same type of weirdos that don't use the urinal at the office, but go in the stall.
  18. As likely as the toilets in the women's restroom, which is very likely.
  19. So was Cedric Benson at Texas, or Curtis Enis at Penn State, or Darren McFadden at Arkansas, Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, etc. But I do agree he needs more than 18 games to be considered a bust. I'm not talking about him being a bust. The question is, is he a special back like Peterson, or just another in a long line of replaceable effective runners. Those guys come and go, should not be drafted early, and should be traded at the drop of a hat by currently bad teams receiving a first round pick.
  20. The first line I saw was Bears -2 but that one is now -1.5. So people might be betting on Pittsburgh not starting off 0-3, which would seem unthinkable to most coming into the season. I don't bet but given how Pitt looks, I'm surprised that the line is going down. Well, it's 2.5 - 3.0 now.
  21. Common sense revocation process. We are applying common sense, and revoking your award. He may then accuse them of being Indian givers.
  22. Because spending money on a competent manager would be madness. If competency is the standard we judge on, then I think Sveum qualifies.
  23. I don't understand why you think I'm judging a player based only on his first 17 games.
  24. I say bring him back and try to get him to sign an extension for less money now that he's got such a bad record that other teams may steer clear. No need to spend money on managers.
