  1. They look like Tampa from like 2002
  2. Caleb gets roasted over the coals if that red zone pick happens
  3. It’s not like they’ll be top ten picks or they’ll need to draft a QB. Mack didn’t work because Trubisky was not the guy. If you have the guy at QB then you find any way possible to put blue chip talent on his roster
  4. They might as well just play out his contract next year. They aren’t going anywhere with or without him. Just build the rest of the roster then move on after next season. Give him a little chance for a walk year miracle.
  5. This line didn’t just start to suck when they hired a new DL. there’s very limited talent. Dayo stinks. Sweat is maybe a top 20 guy as your best and the talent falls precipitously from there.
  6. The bears are 2.5 point favorites, a shift from being 1.5 point dogs when the line first posted. Detroit is a mess but a threat, and the Bears are trying to figure out how best to head into the playoffs. Some guys are likely to rest. But many will play. A win would be nice.
  7. Turnovers ain’t fundamentals its endemic of undisciplined effort led by a Neanderthal meathead
  8. Hahahahahahah
  9. Competence would be nice. Doesn’t help that Thayer can’t complete a coherent sentence
  10. From playoff hopeful to best odds at the top pick in the draft in one month. What a disaster. McKenna is no longer the presumptive first pick. Maybe they end up with another Swede with Ivar Stenberg
  11. Sirius XM. The car just airs the local broadcast but the app can get you the specific team. I’ve driven through all or part of most Sunday games this season.
  12. When I was a kid my dad would often play the Bears radio play by play over a muted tv. My guess is if you do that now you might like the guy for his homerism, but with streaming and lagging you probably can’t do that all that well.
  13. Joniak is awful. I’ve had to listen to a lot of Bears games while driving this year. He is incapable of informing a non viewing listener about what is happening on the field. It’s crazy to me that this guy does radio play by play. He’s lost. You’d think the intonation of his voice would suggest whether a play was good or bad for the Bears. Nope. Going for it on first down, you’ll have to wait for him to digest the result of the play and try and come up with an explanation before you have any idea if the offensive team made it. He spends more time trying to come up with the iceman cometh lines than actually describing plays on the field
  14. Waiting for the PP to end and then pulling your goalie without having possession is some real “tanking” garbage.
  15. Eat a dick Wayne Larrivee* *he’s so much better than Bears radio guy
  16. The Bears are 3 point underdogs in the penultimate regular season game of the year, one in which they could have already clinched the division before kickoff. SF is in a dogfight for their division, and will be motivated to win this one. These are two top ten offenses in terms of scoring and yards, and two mid-tier defenses. It has all the makings of a playoff preview, and should make for good TV.
  17. A letdown game is possible after clinching a playoff spot, but this isn’t a trap game. They are underdogs on the road against a Super Bowl contender.
  18. The Bears are due for one good game against them
  19. Seattle can also take it if they win out. But they only need to win 2 games. SF has to win 3.
  20. The red one is a classic dead Pack bounce
  21. But 2.5 hours going 70+ is more enjoyable than 90 minutes of stop and go bumper to bumper rubber necking insert traffic buzzword here
  22. Generally speaking, driving from a rural area to a city is much easier than driving from one suburban area, around a city into another suburban area. for me a 15 mile trip east is an entirely different animal than a 15 mile trip west
