  1. Matt Shaw should try to get with the Second Lady after the VP leaves her for the widow
  2. DC to Baltimore is about 1/4th the distance as Chicago to Indy. The commanders had little wiggle room to avoid their territory. Chicago in nw Indiana would not have a real effect on the colts.
  3. There isn’t a team in NYC but the two teams that play in New Jersey are still called NY. The Chicago Bears playing in nw Indiana would still be the Chicago Bears, just as the Chicago Bears playing in Arlington heights would be the Chicago Bears
  4. Which is why I said they will have to be replaced in year one of Caleb’s deal draft one per year in 26/27/28 and you can do that.
  5. Never underestimate a republicans willingness to give handouts to billionaires especially when they believe doing so would be owning the libs.
  6. Dan Pompei is like the epitome of an owners mouthpiece. He might as well work for the pr department.
  7. Spotrac was the first thing that came up for me and I misread the 4th from Rams. but they don’t have the second 7th listed from eagles
  8. Absolutely 100% agree, especially when you are relying so heavily on an expensive old interior line. All three of those guys will have to be replaced within year one of Caleb’s next contract. And you aren’t getting that in free agency however, they don’t have a 4th or 6th so probably need defense first three and get your OL with 5 or 7
  9. I would occasionally take sack or check down just to keep the opposition on their toes and the game more interesting for viewers
  10. I got home from practice just in time to see the tying goal and then the go ahead fun times
  11. I think a 1.5 point move is about as big as you’ll see for a nonQB injury by any one player. It was 3 before and Chicago isn’t exactly 100% healthy. The football world still expects Chicago to falter against better competition.
  12. Packer week 2, electric boogaloo The Bears control their own destiny as they held serve against a basement dwelling browns team. Green Bay is a 1.5 point favorite Let’s horsefeathers go
  13. He’s going to be reevaluated after the new year. So that’s at least 7 games. Probably doesn’t play on the 1st, which would make it 8 with Saturday at DC then Sunday the 4th vs Vegas. Maybe 9 or 10 more games before rematch with STL.
  14. Well okay then, that’s settled
  15. I think we can rule out playoffs this season
  16. It’ll be a one year deal with $9m cap hit that costs just 5.2 in cash. The devils will be able to easily unload that. Chicago got a potential all star #1 goalie and a #1 pick for jones
  17. Lardis gets the call with a chance to add some scoring to the Bedard-less lineup
  18. NJ couldn’t make it work today but by 2027 they will have greater flexibility. Much more so than cap space the bigger obstacle is the Wild can offer him immediate contention as a lock for this years playoffs, coming off a bottom dwelling team. And they can offer him the biggest contract under the old CBA rules through next September. If he goes to the playoffs, wins a round or two, gets comfortable with his teammates AND gets an 8 year front loaded deal paying top dollar, NJ isn’t going to be that much of a draw to wait another year.
  19. And dude bros are lamenting the frivolous nature of non-fraternization policies with underlings
  20. I’m not sure Jarry is an upgrade for the oilers
