    I think they can. But I also think with a tough last minute loss last week and revenge on their mind for next week this game could be tougher than it should. 2-2 is clearly on the table here and probably the most likely outcome. If you could bet on win totals in next four I’d take under 2.5 and over 1.5. what would you place the various win total options in terms of % likely? 9 wins, 5%? 10 wins, 30% 11 wins, 40% 12 wins, 20% 13 wins, 5%

    Pretty good timing to take on a free short-term loan before a potential loss to Cleveland dashes their chances of making the playoffs, let alone hosting a game.

    I have no problem with letting time run. A lot of people panic and don’t realize just how much time that is to work with. Time was on their side, but they needed to bleed clock too

    Maybe if they take care of business against Cleveland and look good as dogs the next two games but right now they are dogs. +1.5 on lookahead lines

    Chicago is a touchdown favorite at home, which will likely be their last game as a favorite this season. if they somehow lose, they will not make the playoffs. If they win, the division title is still a slight possibility Cleveland is weird. They seem to be self sabotaging. sanders has seemingly played well in one win and one fairly inexplicable loss. This one could get frustrating, or the Bears could get their first wire to wire no doubt win since September

    They’ve played the same number of games as the BJs. Fewer than a lot of other teams. it’s a condensed schedule this year with the Olympics break. More games early but they’ve only had one back to back nights, and have another one coming up next week.

    I think a loss is pretty devastating for the Bears, at least in terms of hopes to win the division. The packers odds take a bigger hit with a loss, but they are the better team. If they win, they’re in the drivers seat and Chicago has all the pressure in the world to win what will be their last game as a favorite to avoid a skid

    I think part of that is that a Bears loss exposes, or reiterates the common assumption that they are paper leader right now. If they lose to GB then the assumption is they will lose again next time they play at home, because GB is supposed to be better and they would have proved it on the field. The football world expects Chicago to fall on its face, and maybe sneak in as a wild card before getting stomped in round one. If they beat GB, that expectation will be mostly thrown out the window

    Change for changes sake because you get bored of winning but just not enough has a habit of backfiring. see Bears/Lovie or Vikings/Darnold It’s one thing to go from Tony Dungy to Jon Gruden and win the Super Bowl with a championship roster. But who is Pittsburgh getting as an improvement and how are they making the roster better? Ryan Days name has been floated but I wouldn’t want Just for Men anywhere near my NFL team. Kliff Kinsbury may be the closest to a Ben Johnson hire but is he better than Tomlin? I’d wager Tomlin would make the playoffs sooner than whichever coach replaces him with Pittsburgh.

    I have no idea why you can’t. I can. Everybody should be able to. But depending on how you login the app can be wonky. Sometimes it asks me for my tv provider even though I shouldn’t need that

    Because Disney owns espn and this is an espn featured game. I have it on espn+ and watch pretty much every game on espn+ i could switch to Disney plus or Hulu and see it as well because the streaming world is dumb.

    I think a more dynamic RB would have more than 5 TD, and more than 4 rushes of 20+ that Swift has. The team has zero runs over 40, and have by far the highest YPC of the 10 teams without a 40+. The line has been great at opening holes but the RBs have not taken full advantage, imo, despite a great game in Philly.

    Yeah. I get calling Chiefs and Bill teams that can flip a switch and beat anybody in the playoffs, because they have superstar QBs and have done it before. GB and Detroit do not have superstar QBs and have like 1 playoff win apiece the last couple years. The track records are too dissimilar

    I very much thought that as I looked at the schedule and it would be hilarious. Wouldn’t be upset at 4 NFC wins vs one AFC loss.

    If they end the season leading the league then will amend the statement. But so far this year they are leading the conference because of a bunch of escape jobs against bad teams and what is now two good victories. Better teams have faced tougher competition and because of that Chicago is the current leader of the pack. That’s great. I love it. They took advantage of the comparatively easy first half schedule, and stepped up in their first big game of the second half. Let’s see where they are after facing GB twice, Detroit again and the niners. If they somehow go 4-1 in this stretch they are sitting pretty, 3-2 would be tremendous, but probably not good enough to stay at the top. But 1-4 is still very much of the table based on how they have played this season.

    They are leading the nfc by default. You aren’t effectively an even point differential team if your roster has no holes. The defensive line is terrible. The defense is getting by on smoke and mirrors and coaching. But the talent is severely lacking. There are no real holes on offense, if none of the old guys on the line get hurt this month. I think they need to move on from swift but they don’t need to spend big there. But the defense needs investment

    The bears were the talk of the league after a shocking performance against the eagles that vaulted them into the top spot in the NFC. But the general consensus is this will not last and Chicago is a 6 point underdog up in dairy land. Would another shocking upset win finally put to bed the narrative that this Bears team has been lucky to get to this spot with a slew of close wins over bad teams and few quality victories? Probably. But a loss of any kind, even one that is well played and a “tip your hat” type of result will solidify that narrative and keep this team on the bottom of most people’s NFC playoff expectations. oh, and it’s going to be cold.

    Disagree there. This is a mid tier roster with plenty of holes and/or room for improvement.
