  1. I was neutral on Marshall's return. I would have preferred at least a 4 for him, but I can live with this. I think that type of irritant personality can only be tolerated for a finite amount of time. Being around bipolar people sucks. They got their three years without a huge disaster, so I chalk that up as a success and am ready to move on. They will need to go out and get another receiver now, but the Marshall/Jeffery combo was getting redundant and counterproductive. Need variety.
  2. why are people even talking about Hartline?
  3. There's only room for one of Clausen and Marshall.
  4. flood of calls and emails from concerned Jets fans right now. their consensus: Cutler was a strong willed QB that wouldn't take [expletive] from Marshall, Jets have nothing like that and it will be a disaster.
  5. They didn't hire a 79 year old turnaround specialist as head coach so they could suck for a year or two. They are going to try and win next year and the year after that. Unless they stumble upon a better option, Cutler will be the quarterback.
  6. When the menu says flat bread you can be damn certain I'm telling my kid it's pizza.
  7. Kyle ‏@Ky1eLong 10m10 minutes ago Some people's lives are one giant lie. Turns out Cutler actually did vaccinate his kids.
  8. hahahaha yeah, only a weird dude would read exclamations like that and think the person who wrote them was surprised by something they did not think would or had occurred.
  9. I thought the idea of moving elsewhere for a season wasn't anything more than idle speculation. Damn. I'm pretty sure we heard they discussed it previously. This isn't that crazy. Who said it was "crazy?" I just didn't remember anything indicating the Cubs had actually looked into it or talked to the Brewers, that's all. Beginning and ending with exclamations of whoa and damn suggests you thought it was pretty crazy.
  10. Reinsdorf sucks, plus Miller has a roof that will eliminate rain outs which would be impossible to make-up with 162 home games all in the same season. Plus, I would not be surprised if gate revenues would be likely higher from Miller rather than Reinsdorf's stadium.

  12. kapman? bernstein? Sullivan. Saw a retweet about Schwarber's GS, didn't realize I had been block.
  13. Just realized why I have not been seeing any tweets from this guy really. Any guesses? "You have been blocked from favoriting this user's Tweets at their request."
  14. Random question, what is Shawn Estes doing these days?
  15. Oh, I think Cutler is far higher. I'll put Cutler at 75%, and even that I'm afraid is low. afraid? Weird phrasing. I don't think there's much chance Cutler is going anywhere, and I don't think he should. Yeah, I'm assuming he is back and put it at like 90% maybe.

  17. I couldn't believe that. How many drunk-driving deaths and arrests does that organization need to rack up before self-important blowhards stop writing articles like that? cards fans were very defensive when the stupidness was pointed out. A collective "we didn't write it".
  18. Time to start assuming that Maddon finds a miracle way to get the most out of him and Cubs end up with 5 18 game winners.
  19. Any reason why you feel this way? He's a possession WR who's never had blazing speed, and is still in great shape. Takes good care of his body. Assuming the injuries stay away, I don't really see a reason he couldn't crank out a couple more 1,000 yard campaigns... History of wearing out his welcome despite production. A devastating mental illness that tends to ebb and flow in terms of how it affects people. And as a physical guy he does take a bit of abuse.
  20. What in the ever loving hell does that even mean? What else would "shopping" him imply other than the "idea of moving him"? i think he means to imply that one guy thinks they are intent on moving him and the other thinks they are just feeling the market out and letting teams come to them Sure, even that distinction is very poorly written. But the first sentence is bad and redundant all by itself.
