    Cutler will never be good, but don't sell him short - he's average, not below average Maybe three years ago. Right now, he's not even that close to average. Cutler just needed time to gel with the same players. Many people on this board said it would have happened right about the time Cutler got hurt and McCown took over in 2013. It was bound to happen! It still could. No. Could have been helpful to have a decent coach, but I'm not sure there was much of a concern about gelling with players.
