    So then what was the point of your original response to me? Just to be a snarky dick? That it was ridiculous to blame it all on he got hit and rushed too frequently. That happens to most if not all QBs. Brees isn't top 5 if he needs a clean pocket to perform. It's not ridiculous to blame most of his "decline" last year to the fact that his line is nearly twice as bad as it was the previous season. How was he any different as a QB in 2014 than he was in 2012 and 2013? It is ridiculous to suggest he is top 5 as long as he gets a total clean pocket. Or that the fact that he's old, short and immobile excuses him from needing extra protection.

    They are idiots. There was never a chance they were going to be able to make a worthwhile trade. They almost certainly discussed it internally and came to that conclusion rather easily. Those goons don't have reliable contacts inside the organization that have been within the circle of trust under Angelo, Emery and Pace.

    oh geez, a QB who got pressure, that never happens. Nice generalization. Look into it for 5 minutes and you'll realize that the 5'11" Drew Brees is deadly when he has time to set his feet and doesn't have pressure up the middle. Make him scramble and he is below average at this point in his career. Russell Wilson he is not. HAHAHAHA. Yeah, I really need to do some research to realize that when everything was set-up perfectly for Brees he was great. Thanks for the heads up.

    "Losing" on free agency isn't really a big deal. The Bears have made loads of big splashes with veterans over the past 10-15 years and it hasn't amounted to a whole hell of a lot.

    I think Green stays in Denver, shorter deal, and hopes to capitalize on a year of being the feature TE with Manning. But, I like the thought of him coming and think if he signs here it means Bennett is on the trade block, or a post June 1 cut.
