  1. I’d rather have Poutine than Poteet
  2. Eh, he became the gm after being a player personnel guy during the Reid years. He ceded the title to Chip Kelly, but took it back after Kelly left and Pederson came on board. Pederson was the rare Super Bowl winning head coach that did not consolidate power, losing his job two years later. Roseman has overseen one of the most successful organizations of the past decade, surviving 4 head coaches in his tenure
  3. Howie Roseman in Philly is absolutely the top dog there
  4. Historically it has been viewed that way they’ve only done the gm is in charge and hires/fires the coach the past couple decades. Before that it was a weird mix director of player personnel and de facto GMs and a couple head coaches that ran the show. They may have tired of their model
  5. Doesn’t seem stupid to me, if you’re getting the right head coach. The right guy might appreciate the good parts of this roster but be critical of the athletes over football player makeup of the roster overall. That guy might push for football players in free agency and the draft while Poles pushes back and wants guys with the right measurables that may result in Poles losing a power struggle and wanting out (which is apparently something his camp has already floated)
  6. This team does not need depth. They need blue chippers. Depth is not the issue. They can hang with teams. They just can’t finish or make impactful plays.
  7. This is just plain silliness
  8. I disagree with this. The first OC actively ignored these guys. Williams has a hard on for Keenan, who smartly installed himself as a father figure early on. It’s been a disaster. Hopefully Caleb can adjust to losing his security blanket and depend more on the other guys
  9. Greatest decision Vikings ever accidentally made
  10. Completely disagree. He’s been about as good as you could hope from a rookie WR. These guys can’t be expected to be huge difference makers as rookies. He’s been fine, and showing signs of being impactful
  11. Their performance pre and post firing suggests otherwise. They played hard for Eberflus. They’ve quit since he was fired.
  12. They didn’t hate him, they were unimpressed with his dorkiness. He couldn’t lead. He didn’t piss everybody off
  13. It’s been pretty egregious. I assumed poles was fine until I read ten thousand stories about all the decisions he actually didn’t get to make. id be shocked if poles and warren are back together next year and I don’t see how Warren loses this game in the middle of stadium hunting season, when the only things Poles has going for him (talent on field) is awful
  14. It won’t be poles
  15. Caleb brought that holding call himself just throw the horsefeathers ball
  16. Because nobody can get near the qb, until now
  17. He’s inactive with a concussion
  18. It doesn’t help when you call slow developing plays and the ball carrier gets it 4 yards behind the LOS
  19. They are no good between their own 25-40, or near the 50. Or near the 25
  20. Would be funny if the arrogance of going for it on 4th in chip shot field goal range inspired a bears comeback. I appreciate that arrogance and may have done the same knowing the opponents weaknesses. But still…
  21. That was terrible
