  1. I'm saying that Kyle can help solve the problem by giving more non-white coaches a chance to work their way up the coaching ranks. And yes, I think 36% is a lack of representation when more than 36% of the players are black. i didn't realize the nfl player base was like 70% black. but that coaching staff still doesn't necessarily look like a problem to me. Do you watch the NFL?
  2. He’s spent his first 67 years on earth willfully ignorant, he’s not going to improve on that.
  3. Because they don’t mean it? Yeah, he wants to say they should just comply with commands of the cops but realized he can’t so he hems and haws.
  4. The opposing pitcher from Rookie of the Year wins it
  5. And they have used several top 100 picks on interior OL (Long, Daniels, Whitehair, Grasu) while drafting 0 tackles in the top 100. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk This millenium? Carimi and Williams immediately come to mind (not that it changes the overall point) I had to look up the name but Columbo was the guy I always used to think of as the “well that didn’t work so let’s never draft a lineman again” pick.
  6. Both Angelo and Pace have largely ignored the line in the meat of the draft for multiple years in a row. When they’ve had decent lines they’ve been built through free agent pass protectors. They also haven’t had a between the tackle type system or running back for much of the past two decades. When they were a good team they did it on the back of a strong defense that required a lot of draft capital being used on that side of the ball.
  7. revenue share = salary cap = artificial ceiling on salaries
  8. I had been away for over a decade by then
  9. You never heard that? It was pre twitter but during social media time. I remember that
  10. sounds like he may have been laying man to man
  11. The bulls had a strong commitment to analytics dating back to Jerry Krause citing Elton Brands 8 foot wingspan overcoming his smaller stature. I don’t know why I always remember this weird factoid.
  12. tashain gipson, safety from houston signed
  13. Ted Ginn, huh?
  14. Holy smokes I'm close
  15. Andy Dalton is available
  16. Are you aware of what’s going on in the world? ? i didn't say these things were doable. i said i wouldn't bother finishing if you can't do them. but, like, why would fans be necessary in elimination games for some reason?
  17. if fans aren't there at least in elimination games, i think it's a bad idea. and if you change the playoff format, will it ever really be as revered as a normal championship anyways? Are you aware of what’s going on in the world?
  18. I do wonder though if there was something going on that caused Wirtz to change his mind or if it was just an inevitable move. Like was McDonough trying to pull the strings on the hockey ops overhaul himself and Wirtz intervened before he could do any more damage?
  19. I agree, but only in terms of timing. McDonough isn't a hockey guy. He basically convinced the owner to bring the team into the 21st century and helped solidify the business and marketing side. But they need an influx of hockey expertise at the upper levels. It's a perfectly logical move if the goal is to overhaul hockey ops. McDonough wasn't the guy to decide who to bring in. I've admittedly been fairly checked out on the Hawks. Has this been an idea talked about/expected by fans? I would have thought they'd just replace Bowman. I’ve never noticed it as top of mind, people want hockey ops to change. Coach, GM included. But you can only hire right hockey ops people if a good informed leader is making that hire. McDonough was never going to be that guy.
