Eh, the winter classic is fun and all but it pales in comparison to the greatness of hockey as a whole. I don't even remember who has played which winter classic games other than Chicago and don't really care. I do care about how the final standings add up and how the playoffs play out.

I think Hollandsworth is probably more of a courtesy interview than anything else. I have a feeling we're going to end up with Plesac, which isn't the worst case scenario, but is certainly far from the best. This is really a pretty pathetic list of finalists. I feel like Sutcliffe has to be in the lead if he is actually willing to interview, given how hard they've tried to get him in the past. Still hopeful it ends up being Karros. Considering the concerns that have popped up with Sut and booze, and the fallout from the disgrace of Grace, I wouldn't be surprised if they've cooled quite a bit on Sutcliffe.

Personally, I thought it was the fact that they used the quick slant over an over again. The hurry up was a huge part too though because the Panthers weren't able to change their coverage to adjust to the play though. I just don't think the Bears use the quick slant enough, especially when it's the best weapon against a blitz happy team. I was screaming for a quick slant agains the Packers. Whatever it takes scheme-wise to punish them for the pass rush. Everybody comes hard after Jay on the first play of the game. I heard this morning that the Bears have started the game off with a rush 5 times, and with a pass 3 times, and on all 3 pass plays, they resulted in a sack. There has to be a way to take advantage of that over-eagerness by the opposing defense. In theory, a screen is a great option. I don't see the Bears going with hurry up as much as they may go with no huddle. They want time of possession. With a defense that is about patience and opportunism, and which often spends a lot of time on the field (including after scoring themselves), I think it could be very risky to go with a hurry up. -
Yeah I had the same issue with Kate Upton when I saw her making of swimsuit issue video. Kind of jarring.

Yea, that's my issue with him. a little nasally, but that should work in Chicago. Sounds like a good talker to me

The lisp is a really good start. I've never noticed one, and if we hire him and I do notice it and fixate on it, I will blame you. I'm not sure I'd describe it as a lisp, but maybe that is what it technically is. There's definitely a bit of an odd speech impediment of some sort. Yeah, lisp is the right description.

He's not playing high school football. His teammates wouldn't give a crap. These guys are paid employees, not soldiers. -
They already lost to Indy and Washington, plus barely beat Jacksonville. I think they were already a little exposed. Some people were overboard about Ponder being the ignored version of Russell Wilson but I think it was clear this was never a huge threat.

It's going to take a matchup with another successful passing team. If the defense is holding the opposition to 12 points then Jay isn't going to throw it 45 times for 300 yards and 3 TD.

I can't imagine putting my wallet in my back pocket. If anything I'll put a metrocard in there, or a couple bucks. But I do not think the wallet allows me to effectively show off my thunder.

I can't imagine the full season is anywhere close to a possibility right now, and in all honesty I don't really care. 20 regular season games mean little to me. But if they miss the majority of the season, or heaven forbid, the playoffs. I will not be happy, and I'm normally very happy.

His trade allowed Cutler to bring his horribleness from Denver and the AFC to Chicago and the NFC. Plus, he failed to remove the Sex Cannon from the league and failed to prevent Tebow from being Tebow.

Yeah, I won't put it in a pocket with anything else. Keys/money go in one and phone gets its own. Also not afraid of frying my nuts since I already have 2 kids and probably can't handle/afford anymore.

I can't imagine pocket lint kills the phone, unless you spend your days at the beach and your pockets have more than normal lint in them. I've never had a phone die on me, but my first iphone slowly got slower and slower and would hold the charge less and less. I think it's about how little effort I put in to optimizing its usage rather than lint. I did drop an old phone in a lake once, jumped in and got it out. The 6 stopped working but that's it. Left the same one outside overnight during a storm in the sand and woke up to the sound of the vibration. After drying it out the thing worked fine. Lint can't kill anything but the weakest phone.

yes they will. the ones who leave will come crawling back once they get good. Yep. Everyone wants to be one of the ones that stuck with them during the bad times only to be there when they finally win. They may not buy as many tickets, or watch as many games, but I'd guess very few of them are suddenly becoming Sox or Brewers fans or something. They aren't going to cheer other teams. They just won't spend money on the current team. They won't go to games and they won't watch on TV. Just look at the lack of interest on this website when the team sucks compared to when they play well. People already aren't "putting up with it" by not paying attention to it.
