    From the way KT made it sound on FJM this morning. Buzz Bizzinger is a typical old-guard sportswriter, who doesn't like Will Leitch. As for the show, I don't have HBO, so I didn't get to see it.

    Word to that. All of the sudden I am hungry for a stacked bacon cheeseburger with the sack filled with fries. It's like greasey heaven... I miss D.C., I so should have gotten a job in the Senate instead of the job I'm at right now. However, your heart thanks you for taking that job elsewhere. As well as my mid-section.

    Ok, so I have one league that I really care about. It's an 8 team 6x6 Roto League that uses OPS and QS (quality starts). Anyway, my team should be stacked, but they aren't performing well, I just want some reassurances that this team will pick it up. C - Russell Martin 1b - Mark Teixeira 2b - Brian Roberts SS - Hanley Ramirez 3b - Miguel Cabrera OF - Nick Markakis OF - Josh Hamilton OF - Corey Hart Util - Nick Swisher Util - Todd Helton B - Justin Upton B - Howie Kendrick B - Jay Bruce SP - C.C. Sabathia SP - Roy Oswalt RP - Jon Papelbon RP - Trevor Hoffman P - John Smoltz P - Felix Hernandez P - George Sherrill B - Johnny Cueto B - Rich Hill DL - Rafael Soriano Obviously, my big hitters (Tex and Miggy) aren't hitting, and C.C. and Oswalt have sucked.

    I'd be pissed about it. I had a trade before the season in one of my leagues, it was a little lopsided in my favor, but it matched both of our teams needs. He needed Average and his outfield sucked. I needed HR and RBI. I would have gotten Carlos Pena for Todd Helton and Aaron Rowand. Anyway, it is a league votes league with several of my friends. Well, two of the guys on the team are roommates, and another is one of their brothers. Well, one of the roommates has access to his brothers team, so they vetoed the trade twice, because you only need 3 votes. I was pissed as hell.

    If Adam Everett was my SS, I would bat Zambrano and Marquis over him, and just enjoy the defense.

    No, but I did take advantage of some people panicking early to pick up somebody like Myers from free agency. Also somebody really panicked and dropped Granderson because my league has no DL spot, and he thought he could pick him back up in a week or two before he came back. I also made a trade to get Martin and Fielder (for Vlad, Carlos Pena, and Soto). In shallow leagues like this, I like to make 3 for 2 type trades to get better starters because I know I can find talent in free agency. they seriously dropped Granderson because hes on the 15 day DL? Same thing happened in one of my leagues, and we have a dl spot. It was one of my best friends, and I don't know wtf he was thinking. I tried to make a waiver claim for him, but someone ahead of me got him...

    Stick with Hughes, it's too early to panick on a guy with as much upside as Hughes. Lee is likely to regress, and Hughes is likely to rebound.

    I wanted to pick up Cueto for my fantasy team at the beginning of the season, but Yahoo just added him yesterday, so I have to hope to pick him up off waivers on April 5.

    I'm just hoping he stays healthy. I got great value on him in my fantasy draft (18th Round). Apparently no one else in my league got the memo that he is good at baseball.
