    Oh man thats a terrible series for the Panthers. We get the ball back with likely very good field position and a chance to make this two scores. Our saving grace is that the Panthers very much do NOT have a dynamic offense.

    i always get a little upset when the Cubs really pour it on in one game because I know they're using up all their runs for the series (I know this isn't how it works)

    Just realized the Seahawks/Pats game was meaningful for the Bears: If Darnold is out for a significant period of time that makes that November game much more possibly winnable for us.

    Part of the reason why they had a +22 turnover margin was because Caleb is historically good at not turning the ball over We're going to learn a lot this year. I think Bears fans were maybe a little high on Caleb's performance last year (very good, excellent when it mattered) but he still had a lot to clean up. We'll find out a bunch this year if he can put it all together.

    drake maye was legitimately great last season but the seahawks proved pretty definitively in the super bowl if you put him under pressure he cracks a bit but that's true of most (every?) qb

    Here's a completely unscientific thing that means almost nothing: Vegas has the Bears favored in 12 of their 17 games. Doesn't say anything beyond that the oddsmakers like them a decent amount this year. Of course I'm sure it was the exact opposite last year so it all doesn't say much.

    I guess that would explain why he's been so quiet and hasn't said his side of the story. Whatever the case may be, I hope to see him back on the field at some point again.
