    The Packers rushed 53 times and threw 14 times. That’s almost unheard of in the modern NFL. I don’t think you need to give any outlandish props to the QB in such a performance.

    The Rams and Colts performances today are making me feel a lot better about our next few games.

    Not only are the Orange jerseys ugly, but I have a completely irrational belief the Bears are consistently worse while wearing them

    This is a real gut check game. I think, ultimately, the Tennessee game showed the Bears are at least a pretty talented football team up and down the 53 man roster. ST and Defense carrying a huge load. Absolutely not a blueprint for continued success (it is not, and will never be 2005 again), but it could be a good indicator that if the Offense can rise to the occasion, this is a pretty good team. so with luck, we’ll learn a lot more about that offense on Sunday night. I’m not as strident as Kyle, but I am of the feeling that 90% of this season is keeping an eye on Caleb and his development. Hopefully, he puts it more together this week. A competitive L here with Caleb making strides is a W in general.

    There’s not a lot I need “broken down” for me in Caleb’s game. He had about 5-6 just inaccurate, bad passes, he had a few overthrows, he had a couple drops, and he had a few plays where he didn’t handle the pressure well. It was all obvious for someone with a middling understanding of football.

    I'm happy Jaylon got a pick there. What a performance by this D in the second half. Magnificent. Here's hoping Waldron takes the next week and really cleans things up. Williams was bad, but its nice he gets a W in his opener. Ride the feeling and get better.

    There's nothing that can happen in this one, singular game that will make me panic. It sucks if it sucks, and Caleb doesn't play well, but its literally the first game of his entire career I'm not gonna freak out over it.
