  1. I probably feel the least bad of any Bears fan after this game last night. I obviously don’t feel good but c’mon folks take a step back and look at this in the context of the whole season: they lost 19-13 to a very good team, on the road, the second game of the year, with a rookie QB. They have a pretty soft run going forward in the schedule. Our defense, IMO, looks better than expected so far. The things that are concerning are primarily the run game and the OLine. (Which are worse than expected). Williams’s struggles are not unexpected nor do they entirely scare me. He’s going to hit on medium and deep balls going forward. His decision making so far is, on the whole, pretty good. Even if it wasn’t, I wouldn’t be in panic mode. Things could be a whole lot easier for him with better protection and some healthy receivers, but I expect that to improve (at least somewhat!) moving ahead. im zen and patient about the whole thing
  2. I’ll say my biggest surprise of this year is that the OLine really didn’t make any strides forward
  3. This game isn’t even over yet lol. I mean, the Texans are probably 95% to win, but it’s a two score game with 11 minutes left. If the final score ends up 19-10 I’ll be disappointed but it would only be slightly on the low side of my expectations?
  4. I’m very ok with Caleb making these kinds of mistakes today was a step forward for Caleb, not gonna lie at all
  5. Is it possible for this guy to MISS just ONE 50+ yard field goal? JUST ONE?
  6. That’ll just about be game thays the kind of throw (spinning out of a sure sack for a 26 yard gain) that every Packer QB has hardwired into their programming
  7. Great 3rd quarter by this Bears D DO SOMETHJNG ON OFFENSE
  8. horsefeathers. That was almost the coolest interception in the world
  9. I’d bet almost any amount of money right now that the Texans will score on this drive
  10. Wow that 3rd and 1 play was idiotic
  11. I have to say this is one of the most favorably refereed games for the Bears in my memory. We’ve gotten some gifts. which is fair because over the course of my lifetime refs have HATED the Bears so I’ll take it
  12. Nice job D Let’s see a legit drive
  13. Stroud is just sickeningly accurate. He regularly hits his dudes in stride and puts them in ideal spots for YAC helluva QB that kid is
  14. At the end of the day, the margin in this game comes from 56 and a 59 yard field goals So far I’m pleased with how the Bears are playing overall. Would be awesome if they tightened things up offensively, the Line was a bit more put together but it is what it is
  15. Ugh, they’re gonna get more points aren’t they
  16. Well done boys, well done
  17. Romes gotta come down with that man
  18. The important thing is to not keep trying to force it if it’s not working
  19. Great field position and the opportunity to go back to back with drives. Let’s get that first TD, Caleb
  20. Excellent series
  21. Bears D in the unfortunate position of needing a stop to keep this competitive. overall - Caleb is still playing pretty well considering. Offensive dysfunction at this point is not primarily about his play, sadly
  22. Why are the bears consistently so bad at QB sneaks (it’s because the center is bad, I know)
  23. They’ve had two drives and one was a scoring drive. Relax.
  24. Ok that’s insane. CJ Stroud is just a HOFer already I guess cant be mad at the defense when he’s doing stuff like that
