  1. Killer M's? Murton, Maddux, Marshall..... Mabry? Oh no.
  2. We should all get along. I hope. I'm sure Left field is less violent than right field....oh my...I was in center field during the 7-5 loss to the Marlins, and they sure gave Jacque Jones the treatment.
  3. My friends and I are already planning to spell M-U-R-T-O-N on our naked chests, although that may be unpleasant for some of you.
  4. Count your blessings, it was terrible.
  5. No. They seem to have supreme confidence in him, each start he's going longer and longer.
  6. I've had to change my sig from Butkus to Murton. No one takes his team on his back quite like Matty.
  7. Two-man rotation.
  8. ..and I'm male! Seriously, this kid is doing all the heavy lifting on this team, I can't think of any better way to thank him.
  9. Did anyone else think that was outta there for a few seconds? :(
  10. Indian fans are pathetic? Ummm...WOW Too high? Too high, what does that even mean? and Wild thing, I think I love you.
  11. Its not that weak, even if he's dominant, he doesn't even give you the requisite starts to get over 15 wins.
  12. The realities of being a cubs fan. Players drop for little to no reason. Its madness.
  13. That can be said for no less than 4 of the players on our team: http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2004/basketball/nba/09/16/state.bulls/p1_hinrich_getty.jpg definitely underrated http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/20051207/deng_81581.jpg future uber star http://espn.starwave.com/media/pg2/2005/0429/photo/g_gordon1_i.jpg i'm so happy we didn't trade you. omg omg omg i heart the bulls so much. can we please get a legitimate center? Sweets is too fat and Tyson isn't fat enough.
  14. I s'pose, but imagine the uproar if the Bulls pull off the upset in the new 7 game series format.
  15. I hear from a very reliable source that Nick Smith is an ass. BTW: Does anyone else get the impression from TNT/ABC announcers that they are rooting for the Bulls to lose? What do they have against this team? I mean, I don't really like Johnny "Red" Kerr, but at least he roots for his team. These guys are supposed to stay out of the fandom and are unabashadly rooting against the Bulls.
  16. And yet they lose the game. Humorous. On the flip side: How the heck are the Lakers winning 3-1?!
  17. I'm just pointing out the fact that our "saviour" pitchers Prior and Wood would not have helped the dismal offensive production we've had the past couple weeks. Scoring 0, 1 and 2 runs will not usually win you a baseball game. When they get off the DL, the calvary have not come. They will not save this season. They will give us the same teasing flashes of brilliance, and moments of disaster.
  18. Pardon my asking but, How exactly do you win when your team scores 0 runs in 9 innings?
  19. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH This is like the worst possible thing to happen.
  20. Junkballing lefties, and any pitcher they haven't seen before. Another lead off double.... Zambrano is gonna have to be creative to get out of this one again.
  21. They give us the worst for the best pitcher. This is par for the course. Poor Zambrano, he's pitching pretty well.
  22. Oh my god that was teh best play all year. Amazing. Poor Tyson... I kinda get the feeling that some early calls really gave the game to us, putting Shaq in foul trouble and the Heat were forced to give us an inferior lineup to beat up on before they brought the big boys back in the 4th. Oh well, gotta keep fighting, we won the games we had to, now we gotta take a game in Miami.
  23. If not for ND basketball this season, the Bulls would be the most lovable team I've ever followed. I've said it before, but you can probably count on one hand the number of games they've been behind by 15 or more in the 3rd and failed to come back and fight the game to the end this season. They sho got heart. Its a whole team of "Rudy"'s...i just wish we could find a place for Walter Payton in there.
  24. whatever, I'm happier with cedeno out there anyway.
  25. Oh man, one of the worst defeats in the history of the Cubs franchise. Not something to be proud of. Get some runs.
