    ...no matter how bad this season is gonna get. The front office have already pulled the "injury" wild card, and much of the relatively apathetic and ignorant media seems to be on their side. (The comment of Mulder+ Carpenter + Pujols out for the Cardinals is enough to give me fits) So no one is gonna lose their job (Even if Dusty leaves we'll get another cardboard cutout manager without any balls) , no sweeping changes will be made, and likely, the roster will change very little. (They might add some nobody veterans because Hendry is afraid of taking a risk) So what hope is there for a Cubs fan?

    barrett v. aj fight. too bad hill wasn't ejected. :( novoa! Only Barrett and Mabry got ejected. I think he was being tongue-in-cheek.

    As authentic as it is, it somehow looks doctored to me. Hill in the foreground almost completely oblivious to whats going on just seems so strange. He's keeping track of the runners... I realize this, but its still funny. A huge amount of chaos is about to happen, and he's still playing baseball.

    Thanks UMF. That couldn't have happened to a better guy. Does anyone happen to have teh Kyle Farnsworth fight? I've been scouring YouTube, and they don't have it.

    AJP was coming home hard on a sac fly. Before the ball got there, he bowled over Barrett (with a forearm to Bare's head), knocking both over. AJ got up, slammed his hand on home plate, made a gesture towards Bare, and began walking towards him. Bare hugged him, said a few words, then jacked him in the jaw. Normally I'd say that was awesome. However the though of losing our best offensive player for at least a few games is sickening. I'll make sure not to watch during the duration of his suspension. Hey dude, he fired up our team and thats all we needed, dude.

    Please. The ball was 10 feet away. Slide around him and touch the plate. How did AJ know the ball was 10 feet away (which it wasn't)? . Exactly. But I'm the one that's blind. Don't the Sox lovers have something better to do than hang around a game thread at a Cubs board? Not enough Sox fans that know how to read and write to have your own board? Come on now, this Sox fan has been respectful and doesn't deserve to be mouthed off. You are making the rest of us look like idiots.

    If you were so dedicated, you'd live in Chicago. Its a silly argument, but nothing more silly than what you're saying. That makes absolutely no sense. It is silly and stupid. No more so than what he said. Is JR a bigger fan than someone who plops down 10 grand a year for Cubs season tickets? Your replies have little to do with the point of my posts. Didn't you hate the Sox once? Scratch everything i've said in this thread now. I don't like those Sox boys.

    I'm not gonna be apologetic to Hill... But the Umps are giving him NO STRIKES. His curve is hitting pretty darn well, AND NO STRIKES.
