    What exactly did Mariotti write about today? By the way, I find it funny that Hawk bashes him on the air. This is the only case I agree with that idiot. In a round about way he said AJ got punched because of his reputation for being a punk. I refuse to listen to the WGN announcers if I don't have to, but if Hawk did criticize Mariotti, he's got my respect.... for the day.

    I didn't see it, but apparently Anderson went to town on him, and he fought back in true Tavarez style. You mean he karate kicked him? Whats with this hatred of Mabry? I hate him more than EVERYONE ELSE believe me, but he actually took Anderson to town from what I saw. Anderson gave a weak swing, Mabry ducked under it and drove him to the ground. Then they got covered with players, so I couldn't tell.

    And if you flick someone off you get punched in the face. This is what happens sometimes. The middle finger in all of this is the slap and walk towards cubs dugout/helmet (that may have been misunderstood by Barrett)

    I've been doing that for a while now. I'm dissapointed we won the Nationals series. There was a hope if we got swept by them and the Sox, some change might be made.

    That also shows that Barrett can't see the hand slap, and the TV replays show that AJP didn't come in with his arms high, or say anything to Barrett before Michael grabbed him. We're all Cub fans here, but it's pretty clear that Barrett was out of line. I'm pretty sure Pierzynski said something to him that set him off.

    Its also prissy (in everyday speak I'd use another word that is p---y') behavior to take crap and not do anything about it. Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself and your team or you will be run over and disrespected all the time. There are some things going for blind masculine violence.

    While I wont doubt that Jesse Jackson might jump all over it, I do doubt that this is somehow preventing the Cubs from firing someone. Jesse Jackson = clown.

    What are you suing them for? Its not like you signed a contract with them guaranteeing wins or something. They don't owe you anything. They don't even throw games like the White Sox did. They just suck. They haven't even gotten close and lost in heartbreaking fashion like the Red Sox did. They just suck. And those 2 franchises have reached the pinnacle again. They just suck.

    I can't believe how one relief pitcher can completely blow my fantasy team up in one session. But he's doing it.

    I've been as critical of Baker as anyone and I still think he needs to go, but I don't think anything will make this team any better. Honestly who could win with this bunch of crap? I know I'm beating a dead horse, but Baker is part of the reason that the team is inadequate. He asked for many of the players he has now. He rides he starters too hard - especially in 2003 when Prior was what, 22 years old? Or was he 23? It sickens me that injuries are being used as an excuse when Baker probaby played a part in some of those injuries. something that made me smile I also love you.
