  1. is there any way that collins deserves to be on an NFL roster after this game?
  2. this is uh, quite the game i'm getting horrible flashbacks to 2004 right now
  3. this is gonna be a really bad game
  4. perhaps their projection system has an algorithm that figures when a player of declining ability has a flukey breakout season at his age they tend to regress even worse the next season probably not though
  5. im gonna have to argue your point on the Jays. They had at least 20 homers from every position on the field, so Citoball rules. Of course they'll never make the playoffs in that division but watching them play is probably way more fun also they have 2 world series in my life time ( barely) so theres that
  6. did anyone watch the preseason game? Anyone wanna let me know how they looked? After the Bears game I'm starting to think its wise to buck up on some Bulls news
  7. 2 thoughts come to mind right here: one, continue picking against them two, why the hell did you pick detroit in week one?
  8. bluarrrrrrghghghghgahaaaaarrrrrrrghghghghghg thats what sound the Boozer news made me make
  9. why do you hate cutler so much? peterson makes a great play on that pass to knox or it's right in knox's lap. just enjoy a great game from cutler and accept that he is our qb. Seconding sulleymon on this one UMFan, thats what you gotta live with as far as Cutler is concerned. Basically he's going to throw at minimum a pick a game on a play like that, on a 3rd and 20, because thats who he is. I'll take the 370+ yards and the ridiculously awesome TD to Forte at the end of the game when it looked like they might get themselves out of field goal range.
  10. Don't ever pick the Bengals for anything, hell this works for most things Cincinatti and Ohio related
  11. If Lovie doesn't make the incorrect decision literally every time there was a crucial turning point in the game, we probably win by 10 and its not a big deal at the end of the game The Lions weren't doing ANYTHING on offense until we went into prevent mode. We kept moving it between the 30s, but we just kept stalling or turning it over. I feel ok about the offense if we decide to stop running the ball and just let Cutler chuck it up. The defense, against a really bad team, also looked pretty good for most of the game. This has an 7-9 to 8-8 season written on it with an easier schedule...as it is this might be a 6-10ish team i thought they looked good for the most part, the lions defense played with some fire and attitude, but cutler still threw for 372 yards and 2 tds. that is what we will need if we're going to be successful. we had some bad fumbles but that's not a product of the scheme. i think the way we played today, if we hold onto the ball better, we beat a lot of teams. Agreed. I still think Lovie should be fired as soon as possible, but Martz and Marinelli did a good job

  13. It's a pretty straight-forward rule. If you don't have possession through the entire completion when you go to the ground, it's not a catch. It's not a new rule and wasn't a terribly difficult call for the refs. The only question, as they said, was whether there was a second move. There clearly wasn't, so the call was upheld. on the other hand he had clear possession of the ball with two feet down and then his body, and upon thinking he had the td already he kinda just let the ball go it clearly wasn't him losing control of the ball at all, he just thought the play was over oh well whatever, we should have won the game anyway with a FG instead earlier in the game so this makes up for Lovie's amazingly awful coaching
  14. one of the worst calls in the history of the NFL, that rule needs to be changed immediately if thats how you define an 'incomplete pass'
  15. This team is officially worse to watch than the Cubs, congratulations thats a [expletive] accomplishment right there
  16. HOW DO YOU PUNT THERE
  17. I don't understand not getting the field goal and the lead honestly
  18. This team is horrible
  19. This team is horrible
  20. This team is horrible
  21. and that came to no surprise to anyone we're not getting any inside push against Suh and whoever the hell the other DT is, that wont work
  22. lets figure out a way to not score here
  23. Its not a high percentage play and only makes sense if you're intending on going for it on 4th
  24. I despise Lovie Smith Show some baawwls (as Jwoww from Jersey Shore would say) and try to win the freaking game
