    It's completely self-serving but the last 2 years have switched me from a non-DH loyalist to a complete DH partisan because I want to see Schwarber, Contreras and Soler dong everyday

    Weird to think this team are like, less than half a dozen pitches away from breaking the major league record for consecutive wins Also this whole stretch proves incontrovertibly to the people that were like "oh well, from so-and-so date the Cubs have been .500" because lol. this team is ridiculous

    If we do a 4 person rotation, I'm totally cool with piggybacking Hammel/Lackey in some fashion, for some reason that makes me feel like both of their annoyingness would be held in check Hendricks obviously deserves a start all his own.

    Its kind of a mistake to use Chapman here unless Joe is under the impression he's already wasted for tomorrow and he wants to keep Carl Edwards totally fresh

    Yeah. He actually sucks, but he's been brilliant in extremely high leverage situations (I remember 2 spots where he pitched out of a bases loaded no out jam this year alone), so its skews my perspective of him. So I end up being disappointed in him when he sucks, like an angry father

    What was this all about? It was right in the middle of a Riz lovefest and we can't see the game. That was a very belated response to David Ross hitting into a double play with the bases loaded
