  1. i'm furious about every single warning track fly balls
  2. Having a multiple run lead going into the 9th doesn't really qualify as an 'escape' this is a solid 95% chance win type game. Annoying stuff going on with our pitchers, Joe testing poor Spencer and poor Spencer breaking under the pressure. It is what it is.
  3. Keeping Patton out there for a 3rd inning seems very cruel
  4. Its cool that Kris Bryant has two "Kris Bryant Games" this year
  5. This is kind of a terrible spot to use Patton but Joe really likes to test his new RP by throwing them into the fire
  6. That's his 2nd homer of this series. I still don't know who he is
  7. Yeah its hard to draw conclusions as you said. The Cubs 'slumped' to a .330-335 OBP team in June and July (assuming you can draw a conclusion that higher OBP = more pitches seen per AB). During that period they disproportionately played a lot of good teams and faced a lot of good starts and the schedule was road heavy. Now they've spent almost 6 whole weeks at home and have played some bad teams. They were also forced to start players like Albert Almora because of injury, players who do not take many pitches. Ugh
  8. I should blame myself for thinking that 2015 2nd half Jake Arrieta was what we'd get from here on out, forever. Even Struggling-With-Control Arrieta is better than 95% of the pitchers in the National League, but I still find myself frustrated and mournful. This is my personal failing. I apologize, but can do nothing about it. EDIT: Also following the pitchtrax on Gameday and Arrieta is not getting very many favors on his zone when he's close
  9. I'm glad your name has changed. I send the good ju-ju to Heyward
  10. The Brewers Will Always Be Bad, and We Will Always Be Good
  11. Sczcur has been swinging a really hot bat
  12. Nieuwenhuis has 11 home runs on the season, 5 of them have been hit against the Cubs its just like, lol
  13. That guy has hit like 50% of his homers against us hasn't he?
  14. Make more mistakes, Brewers defense, and help our collective team batting average, you idiots
  15. When bad things happen to Ryan Braun, its very good its too bad we didn't get more bases on that
  16. Haha, Pat started with his typical call, but then actually relaxed after a second because it was so gone he didn't even need to be too excited about it
  17. early runs make BigSLick a very happy boy
