If you think Hinrich is "lead-footed," you don't know what you're talking about. He orchestrated the best fast-break offense in college basketball for two years. Scouting reports list his quickness, athleticism, and court awareness as strengths. You can argue whether or not the Bulls would be better without him. But to say he's some slow-footed, un-athletic throwback PG suggests you're not very familiar with his skill-set. Noah isn't lead-footed either. both of these guys aren't coordinated enough to play in that style of offense. if hinrich played at that pace he'd lead the league in turnovers. fast paced play doesn't really agree with noah. neither does FT shooting. Seriously, what are you talking about? That's the exact style of offense he excelled at in college. How is he not "coordinated"? Ever heard of the "Carolina break"? It was called the "Kansas Break" when Hinrich was in college. And I'm not joking. I don't know enough about Noah to argue him, but I'm left wondering if you have Aaron Gray and Kirk Hinrich confused here. We ran the Kansas break in high school. (we had three guys that shot 90% from the 3-point line that were drafted but they all went to college. They graduated in different years, of course. For one thing, look at what Dwight Howard did as a straight out of high school rookie in the NBA now look at what Jordan is doing as a straight out of high school freshman in the weak big 12. Not a lot of comparison. His ceiling is way, way high, but you'd like to see something more than tools at this point, at least if you're thinking about drafting him above a guy like Rose. Of course, you know how people are with big men.

When I was playing in high school, the average pitcher we faced was throwing in the low to mid 80's and the good ones could get it into the 90's. I'd rather take Malcolm Kelly. Ditto. I love my potential to run with the ball after the catch, but a lot of my value is gone if I'm with the Bears, that's my ability to run back kicks. Kelly is a big WR with some speed. Only negative, if you see it that way, is he's pretty similar to Mark Bradley minus the injuries. i've seen every college game each has played and Kelly is so much better a wide receiver that it isn't even comparable. Bradley was a big, fast, raw (no offense) guy. Kelly has the best hands and body control that I've ever seen.

Seriously. Did anyone ever see Vince Young? Ugliest QB in major college history, but also one of the five best college players of all time. Pryor is going to be a QB. THAT is a laughable statement. There is no way Vince Young is considered "one of the five best college players of all time." Myabe since 2000, but all time. Terrelle Pryor may play QB, but he will NOT be any good at it, and he won't have the hype of playing in a NT game like Vince Young had. And just because VY was barely a college/NFL QB (he's like Vick, he's a different position player dressed up like a QB, Vick was a RB, and VY is WR), doesn't mean PSU/OSU/Michigan should fall in that trap. Nick Saban (for point of preference, leave personal opinion about him, for a different thread, for a different day) stop recruiting him, once he had a SUPERIOR QB in Star Jackson in hand. I'm not saying Jackson is a better player, well...nm, yes I am. What gives Pryor the advantage, UNTIL COLLEGE KICKS IN....is that Pryor is a better athlete then Jackson (who is not Bryon Leftwich type athlete by any means), but Star is going to be just that....a STAR QB in college. It's just my opinion, I just think Pryor has higher upside as either a TE or DE. I just see no upside to him as a QB. I just believe his athlethicism is better suited for DE/TE, and he would make a LOT more money, because as a QB, he's likely a 3rd rd caliber player as a QB. There is no way someone who is 6'5 230 and can run a 4.5 has higher upside as a TE or DE than a QB unless he physically cannot make a throwing motion with either arm. You just don't influence enough plays at those positions. Charles Woodson? Lol. I can see him being outside of the top 5 if you're going by career contributions, so I was wrong there. But I'd still put his final season up against anyone's. That's what I should have said.

In cases in which I know the official is not ready I would drill right at the person as hard as I could. I hate it too. a guy on my HS team loved to mess with free kicks like this, just nonchalantly strolling through, stuff like that. I mean, it was obviously purposeful, but the way he did it usually kept him out of trouble, a ref would yell at him to move and that would be that. I don't think he ever drew a card or anything. Anyway, one day someone had enough and laced one right into his side. It would have been much funnier, except that he saw it coming and turned. Either way it bruised his ribs and knocked the wind out of him. He was laying on the ground in a heap, rolling around. It was one of the better things I'd ever seen on a field before.

This has been a pretty fun league the last few years, hope we do it again

Athletically he's just a shade under Dwight Howard (and a worse FT shooter, too). He really is a freak, but he is raw as hell. If anyone doesn't know the deal with him, go watch some of his youtube videos. Any 7-footer that can do that is headed to lotto status.
