    The NBA thread

I don't mind the And1 stuff nearly as much as I used to. What I do mind is every stupid whiteboy in every stupid gym across america thinking that they're the professa or whatever
  2. what team is the red turds
  3. awesome, I'm not the only idiot this round. (Rocketman took Phillips back in round 3)
  4. please read the rules and regulations link located in someones signature somewhere
  5. Not only does he take contact, he almost seems to seek it out, since his vision is not exactly a strength. If he gets outside, he's sneaky enough to make a guy miss, but in traffic, he's a bruiser. Another thing, he looked much bigger to me outside of pads.
  6. Ok then, I'm taking James Shields
  7. Hahah, are you serious? Wow, what a tard. One sec, please.

    The NBA thread

Think about the roster size of a basketball team compared to a baseball or especially a football team and it will make sense.
  10. Yes. It's just my opinion. Nothing more and nothing less. My personal recollection of watching McFadden over the last 3 years is someone who is the fastest running back I've ever seen, gets past the linebackers at a pretty good clip (usually on the outside), doesn't run over people very often, doesn't juke alot, and is more likely to be pushed out of bounds than go down under contact in midfield. lol what?
  11. 73. Dan Uggla 74. Gary Sheffield 75. Jonathan Paplebon 76. Daisuke Matsuzaka 77. Hunter Pence 78. Tim Lincecum
  12. WHERE THE HECK IS CHEAPSEATS
  13. THIS. IS. BALTIMORE. I'm eating a Chick-Fil-A grilled chicken sandwich with honey BBQ sauce. THIS. IS. DELICIOUS! I'm watching "300" THIS. IS. SPARTA. ohhhhhhhhhhhhh i get it now
  14. seriously though, game threads are the worst.
  15. The patron saint of NSBB has spoken. Nice work, IMB. =D> i'm just saying. if you can't control yourself, then....
  16. Seriously, are you joking? Grasping for straws? How am I grasping for straws? Almost everyone else disagrees with you. Are facts "grasping for straws"? That sounds ridiculous to me. Fighting unfairly? Are you joking? You blatantly lie repeatedly, I call it out, and that means I'm "fighting unfairly"? Where do you come up with this stuff? And the "I have kids and work for a living" stuff is nonsense as well. What does that have to do with anything? Does that make it okay to lie? Does that make it okay to repeatedly say things and then fail to back it up? You guarantee it? Okay, then what sort of compensation are you going to offer me if that doesn't come true? If you can't somehow compensate me, then you're making a prediction and not a guarantee. I seriously think you need to listen to that interview again, because Lou never said that. If he did, why don't you listen again and type word for word what he said, so we can judge it ourselves? Oh, because "you have kids and work for a living", so you don't have time. Right. I'd say there's about a 50/50 chance Soriano would be moved down if they ended up getting Roberts, and I think the odds are only that good because of Soriano's leg problems. If I had to bet, I'd still say that Roberts would bat second and Soriano leadoff. However, I'm reasonable enough to know that I can't make some sort of ridiculous guarantee as if I know for sure, because none of us know that. I also know that I won't lie about what Lou said just to make my point seem more valid. How did I speak for a moderator? All I did was remind you to what HE said. As for disagreeing with that I've said, then fine. The thing is, you never make counter arguments. You act like you can't hear anything and then jump to other statements instead of carrying on a discussion, all the while claiming it's because you "don't have time", which we all know is just an excuse, since you clearly have enough time to post repeatedly. These are a few of the reasons why most of this board doesn't take you seriously and either a)make fun of you, or b)ignore you. As for me, I think it's time for letter B. As others have said in the past week, congratulations for being the first person that has ever made me feel inclinced to use the ignore feature. I'm sure I won't be the last. Have a nice life. I have to admit your responses are a bit hostile. Back it up a notch and just have a healthy discussion. No reason to get upset about it.
  17. Careful, the 49ers said the same thing last year. 90 million dollars later, and we know how that turned out.

    NSBB vs. GRB

    YES
  20. im reasonably sure that gallagher would be terrible this year, but because of john lieber john lieber
  21. That doesn't make sense. The answer is Chance.
  22. What's the big deal, really? We all know Bruce is legit, so what if FJM rips him? I doubt he's sitting in a Mesa, AZ hotel room with a bottle of scotch instead of out drumming up stories. He should wear it like a badge of honor.
  23. Ya, they could dig up Hank Greenberg too and have Crawford and Baldelli carry him around like Weekend at Bernies. LOL I'm in favor of this, it'd be cool to see, at least.
  24. Fair enough. However, I haven't deemed him worthless. He'd make for a decent 5th outfielder. He's 26 years old and doesn't bring enough to the table to be a solid starting CF candidate. And I think that conclusion is very premature. Earlier I gave Brian Roberts' very similar MiLB line. Here's another. .300/.370/.379/.749 with 76 XBH in 1423 MiLB ABs. Ages: 11th round pick out of Arizona as a 21 YO. A- and A @ 22 A+ @ 23 AAA @ 24 MLB @ 25. This guy has starred in the bigleagues for the last 16 years. He's Kenny Lofton. Now am I saying Fuld is the next Kenny Lofton or Brian Roberts? Obviously not. My point is, there isn't even the first Kenny Lofton or Brian Roberts if guys with this resume are pigeonholed as 5th OFs and utility MIs before they've even set foot in the majors. lol, kenny lofton and sam fuld are on such different scales as far as athletic ability that it's hilarious
  25. No Kent Mercker?
