Hey Carrie, Everyone says that we need a new shortstop, but what about Theriot? We won more games than we lost when he was in the lineup. I think he really adds a spark. Sort of like our Eckstein. Has Cubs management mentioned anything?

i don't understand the idea of hating on a system that rewards teams for not losing in a short season and then advocating a system that kicks a team out that loses one game in a shorter season. because the system in the season that sucks right now is trying to put just 2 teams in the championship. look at it right now. osu is probably the 6th or 7th best team in the nation. if you have an 8 team format, then you wont have any huge glaring omissions...like the best team, USC. Oh, I get it. Yeah, I totally agree.

uhh yes, isn't everyone? You can say "we had a good year" and "dag nabbit we didn't win a national title" at the same time. you guys will figure this out if you can somehow put back-to-back good seasons together (in 2030 maybe lol) i guess it depends on the expectations of the team. i dont think florida atlantic is too bummed out that they didnt win it all this year. and i think we can put back to back good seasons together by 2025 or so. yeah, you guys are FAU, take it slow at first hopefully we can land that elusive Sun Belt championship next year lol imagine mizzouri winning a conference championship

they should play their offensive players on defense. also, i had to listen to the game on the radio, and one of the guys kept calling Henne "Henning". The sidelines guy did nothing but stammer and interrupt the announcers. it was fantastic.

USC is better than OK, and we all know how well Mizzou fared against OK. No they arent. USC healthy at home is better than OK. USC is probably the best team in the nation when healthy. Without a doubt. Anyway, you know those stories about guys who come into a lot of money and then go crazy because they aren't used to it and they buy [expletive] crap and blow it all? That's how I feel about MIzzouri fans. "WE WERE GOOD HOLY CRAP WE'RE THE BEST WE'RE THE BEST BOWL GAMES BABY TAKE ON DA WORLD"

arkansas scores 50 on lsu, scores 7 against missouri, who got dominated by OU twice. I think we all know what this means. But Colorado beat OU and Alabama beat Colorado and UL Monroe beat Alabama so: UL Monroe > Oklahoma those were flukes shut up

I covered a decent basketball tournament this week, one that had a lot of college coaches and recruiters (most local, but some national) in attendance. It was only an 8-team tourney, but it had two seniors that have signed to major d1 schools (OSU and Arkansas) and a pair of guys who are big time recruits (one is, or at least was, rivals No. 1 center for 2009). Anyway, by the third day, I was getting used to seeing some of these guys wandering around, but that night I went into the bathroom to take a leak, and who do I see? Well, Im not 100 percent sure, but I think it was Wojo (of Coach K and Duke fame). I slapped the floor and tried to d him up, but he just gave me a weird look and walked out, so Im still not sure if it was him.
