  1. this makes ... zero sense whatsoever. did you have the volume on
  2. Let's say Chili Davis pixie dust magically turns Heyward into a .290/.390/.500 guy next year (lmao) with still beyond elite defense in RF resulting in like a 7 win season (that's a pulled out of my ass guess at what that would be) Do you hope for opt out or no opt out? (I hope for opt out still) opt the horsefeathers out
  3. I feel safe in saying there is no [expletive] way theo and jed are gonna give darvish 25-30 million.
  4. Longoria seems like a prime candidate to catch some Cardinals pixie dust, that seems like a pretty good deal for them.
  5. im not bitter
  6. And award the cardinals a competitive balance las vegasean
  7. i like the part about how he leans forward so far that he almost falls over
  8. this is leading to harper signing a 10/150 deal with us now
  9. So we get to live in a world where aaron judge and giancarlo are on the same team, AS WELL AS one where the best player in baseball gets to play with a bizarre two-way Japanese introvert, AS WELL as one where the Cubs win a world series and then sign Bryce Harper two years later. I think that's ok.
  10. jesus christ lmao
  11. I would think that an Asian millennial probably wouldn't be overwhelmed by a virtual reality presentation.
  12. it's kinda cool, trout finally has a sidekick
  13. In a vacuum I'd agree with you, but in context of this whole scenario (west coast, seattle has a good history with japanese imports, lots of bonus money,) it seems like another clue.
  14. It's that combined with seattle being willing to move almost all of what is not a very strong farm system anyway. If you have Ohtani, the argument could be made that these kind of middling pieces don't matter anymore, but I don't think they would move half of their top-10 unless they were very sure about what was coming back their way.
  15. The Dee Gordon deal just makes me think Seattle is very sure that Ohtani is theirs.
  16. did he do a slow bow after he said that
  17. I'm not concerned about the TJ because it's just a three-year deal. The walks concern me but what can you do when you're talking about a 5th or 6th starter.
  18. 3/40. I can dig it
  19. lol the media company who is buying up literally every other broadcast company looked at fs1 and said nah
  20. Preller: I've got some good news and bad news. Ohtani: *nods* Preller: Our park is huge, you'll never give up a home run here. Ohtani: Wonderful. Preller: But on the flipside you'll never hit one either. Ohtani:
  21. nah he's freshly turned 28 and whoever gets him is probably going to get surplus value out of the first few years and money is worth less and less as time goes on, especially in mlb Hi Guys! http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/images/players/head_shot/518792.jpg Lol yes.
  22. BECAUSE HE'S BSOL
  23. i horsefeathering love this guy, he's so weird. that list reads like something derwood would have typed up for his Road to the show character
  24.
