    Yep. Going 2 for 4 is very good. And it came at the right time when the Cubs needed it at the time. He's up to .125 on the year. 4 RBI in 5 games though. That's what he is here for, to drive in runs.

It's pretty early, but it looks like Jocketty's tactics of using retards *er* retreads in the bullpen is finally blowing up in his face. Wainright looks good though. Yeah, Wainright looked very good. They should have left him in. He's a starter. Why does Larussa change relievers so much?

    Why? He's still slightly below avg. on defense. Though, I thought he did a good job tonite and the SB was off of Williamson. His asset is his bat, it gives him more value than almost any catcher in the NL. I'd rather have that than most of the defense 1st types, see Molina. Yeah, I'm a little high from the victory now...what I mean is that I will never say we should put Blanco in more because of his D like I did last year.

    I agree. Really Corey was a speed guy trying to also be a power guy. Very few can pull off that combo. Abreu and Soriano are the only ones. Honorable mention to Sizemore, Bay and Arod. ARod has been at least as successful a power/speed guy as Abreu. Remember he had a 40/40 season back in 1998. Yeah, you're right, I was just talking about currently. Arod is usually around 20 steals now.

    You know what I was thinking today...how often do you see managers sign two year contracts? It makes think Dusty is coming back because I doubt they would sign a manager to be here longer than Hendry.
