I like the Orlando Hudson ideas. I really thought the Cubs should have gone after him, but I know he wanted a big deal that never came. One other thing I'd do: Sign Mark Prior to a minor league deal w/ MLB incentives if he's in the top 5 Cy Young voting.

They're pretty similar, if not exactly the same. I think it's more of the positioning of the park and the wind.

Did anyone listen to the Bears special tonight on the Score? They had Olsen, Forte, and Cutler on and at one point they were talking about Forte graduating college. Somehow he turned it on Olsen and said something to the effect of Miami doesn't even have a campus........do they? I was rolling!

Yeah, I thought I made some improvements for next year. Hopefully, the players I gave up with help the guys in the playoff hunt as well. Looking through the rosters..................there's some great teams for the playoffs.

Haha Good for JP. There's no mandate to trade him, so why not ask for the moon and stars for him.....someone might just give them to you At the end of the day JP can get screwed though. His value is that he's signed for next year, but if JP doesn't get a deal done then he'll obviously get less next year.

It depends on how Gorzelanny works out. I've always like him, but it depends on how he performs and I don't know that it will help improve this years team, so I don't really get the deal.

If MLB doesn't set a deadline soon won't the bankruptcy court liquidate the Cubs at some point? I'm not a legal expert, but it seems to make sense. -
still a good deal for don. he can trade felix for a 1st rounder after the season in a heartbeat. If you keep saying these things, you might even start believing them after a while. Single players have simply not been receiving that much in return. I received Felix for Hardin.......straight up at the end of last year.

I'm not in favor of banning 1st round pick trading or post season trading. Guys just need to be smarter about how much they give up for a player after the season.

He gets my first round pick next year too. Yeah, I wouldn't have gone straight up. I receive a stud prospect and a #1. Can't complain.
