I would say you could have waited another round or two on him so it wasn't the best but not bad. Lackey was a good pick. As for my pick ... I'll make a small gamble and take Manny Ramirez. I don't like him as a player and with him not signed yet I'm a bit worried he will holdout for part of the season but his value is just too good at this spot. This gives me three of the top 4 guys in BA from last year, three guys who walk a lot, score runs, and hit homeruns. I guess offense is going to be my strength. I normally go pitching so we'll see how this works. You're probably just looking at 2008 stats. Liriano didn't pitch much because he came back in September. That said, he put up All-Universe numbers upon his return. In my eyes, he's as good.........maybe better than anyone in baseball.
